You should also understand what happened in Kano. PDP has two factions who were in court over the governorship primaries. One faction was being supported by the PDP NWC led by Ayu, the other holds the state party structure hitherto with Kwankwaso

The faction who lost withdrew support for Atiku and joined Kwankwaso.

That was what happened. The 100k does not tell you the true strength of the PDP if they were united.
Doesn't matter. That number is too poor

This has been PDP's downfall every election cycle since Jonathan. They always have factions and court issues that further divide the party.

Kudos to Obi. He fought a good fight. I am impressed.

But losing Lagos to LP is really hurtful sha. It’s a special kind of pain to lose your turf to someone you don’t really rate.

This one feels like a general loss to me.,

Come outside where? Try getting information about what is happening at Akwa Ibom INEC office.

Even this morning I posted on this thread that the State REC has refused to meet with civil societies and independent obversers but is meeting with the Governor.

All collation was done at Akwa Ibom INEC office and only some polling units in Akpabio's area transmitted with BVAS.

I already told you I don't doubt what he gave Tinubu in a few areas but Akwa Ibom didn't vote Atiku. It's one of the states that'd end up in court so we'd compare BVAS and State REC results. The opposition to Northern presidency in Akwa Ibom was right from last year.

I repeat, Akwa Ibom didn't vote Atiku to this margin and I'm insisting on it. It was rigged and I can confirm protests have begun.

Forget PDP as a party, Atiku himself should be able to pull votes on his own merit without leeching on PDP pull.

APC Kano also had issues that made alot of big wig left yet APC had 700k+

See the leprous numbers a supposed heavyweight like Atiku is getting even in the supposed core north...

Yet na Obi dey Reno Omokri mouth day and night..No wonder Wike just do strong head to the end..Atiku should just never ever return to Nigeria again to suffocate political space for people with him dollars..

Even Kwankwaso wey say him NNPP na national party, na just Kano e try well..

I don't necessarily fault Tinubu. He did what he had to do. The onus is on people to reject that ticket.

The gripe is with someone like a Kwankwaso that knows his popularity is not widespread and chose to intentionally play spoiler. Can you imagine Kwansogbu's votes joining Obi's and the enthusiasm they will build up running a proper campaign up North?

The Atiku bit I keep trying to tell people these votes you're seeing going for Obi would not have gone to PDP or Atiku. A lot of people would not have bothered to vote.

I think he underestimated PO influence based on his own calculation. He felt he is a bigger politician and PO support won't surpass SE which he felt won't turn up. I am sure he will feel disappointed because that would have been his easiest shot to presidency given that 8 years or 4 years is a long time and who knows maybe then he won't be the favourite among northern candidates.

Don't use presidential to judge. Atiku only tried a northern Parapo which worked partially in his favour.

Uba Sanni the APC candidate is very popular and sound too.

True. They may still not learn in 2027.

How APC managed to keep their members together inspite of their various issues needs to be studied. Everyone expected them to divide along the ACN CPC lines but here they are today still going strong.
