Goke7:Yes, that is the suspicion. If there is nothing to hide, let all the results be uploaded. And if the results are fake including the ones from the east and Lagos, let them be cancelled. Simple! 1 Like |

tonididdy: From 1999 to 2007, elections in Nigeria were completely manual. There was no instantaneous digital communication. In 1999, the results were written in the houses of military generals across states reflecting the strength of the candidate there. In 2003, the results were written by State INEC Coordinators/ Chairmen on the instructions of Obasanjo. Those days elections were announced in some states around 6pm when thousands of voters were still on queue. Obasanjo used the 2003 method to install Yaradua in 2007. I think 2007 had to be the worst because the core northerners were all out for Buhari. Yaradua even apologized on National TV to reform electioneering in Nigeria and felt ashamed of the process the brought him in. In 2011, electoral reforms started. There was a bit of introduction of technology into the process. The role of party agents at each polling unit was more prominent. The law and courts were strict about evidence of voting because of the cases that followed previous elections. This ushered in the era of notorious ballot box snatching. Results were not just to be written . It was more like snatch, thumb print or replace used ballot papers to reflect on the result sheets. 2015, card readers were introduced. It is one of the reasons Jonathan lost to Buhari. The method was still snatch ballot boxes, write results from uncompleted buildings but don't let them exceed the voters register that was now digitally centralized. In 2019, the card readers became more prominent. It was more like return results that don't exceed the numbers of cards read. However, this method didn't prevent someone from buying 1000 voters card to be read by the card reader. The number of valid votes dropped even lower. In 2023, the idea is that you must vote with your own card alone. It is the best one man one vote system. You can't manipulate figures. The only rigging mechanism here is to remove votes and add to another candidate's votes but total votes cast remain the same. The number has further reduced. Check available data, total votes cast has reduced consistently since 1999. 18 Likes 2 Shares |

helpee:you seem to be reading without understanding anything. Now I've highlighted the importance of this space for you, this time carefully read it. it states precisely for you to see that, the precising officer results must be tallied with the results uploaded from the polling unit. Results are being rushed to use without them being transmitted. It clearly states that it needs to be the same with the one uploaded, either inec needs to wait untill all results are uploaded. If you want to be transparent be transparent, everything is not all about tribalism. You need to download the full act and read it, some of them are making reference to cited act about the E transmission which are above 1 Like 1 Share

Goke7:Don't be a bigot. Igbos and non indigenous people were not the only ones who voted Obi. A lot of Yorubas did. The huge Lagos middle class, religious bias and lack of transparency were factors that worked against Tinubu in Lagos. PO is winning in Abuja, how many igbos make up Abuja? But there are similarities between Lagos and Abuja in the factors i mentioned. 2 Likes 1 Share |

FreedomfromtheT: As at this morning, over 80k polling units have been uploaded. Before the end of the day, it should be over 100k. The process is slow because INEC is doing everything to ensure those attempting to upload fake result don’t succeed. INEC server has been attacked by those making noise about the upload over 70 times since Saturday. They brought hackers from China but INEC is outsmarting them. 10 Likes |

TheOldGods:you are definitely reading a different act from this one. Where did it state that you must upload. Yes… collation means you gather all the votes together. So whatever the presiding officer collated , recorded and transmitted ( which can be on paper or electronically while transmission can be done electronically or through INEC agents) must tally with the one to be announced. What is so difficult in that? We know Inec promised to upload electronically… mark the word promise… now they have technical glitch and they resorted to manual collation, recording and transmission…. It is not strictly illegal. It may not be transparent enough for you but a technical glitch does not discriminate between Election Day and Xmas day. It can happen anytime 1 Like |

seunmsg:lame defence. Over billions of people are currently using binance to trade crypto, billions of money going out and coming in, but it takes barely 10 mins to get everything. Billions of people are using tiktok, and in every 10 minutes 100 millions of videos are uploaded, yet tiktok is not down a single time. Ordinary pictures, less than 10mb is taking over 3 days to upload. Yet it took inec 300 million dollars to set up an ordinary server🤣🤣🤣 Amazon has an average of 214 billion people everyday, yet the site has never crashed for once, people are ordering, uploading and selling, even Nairaland sef takes 5 mins to upload pictures, with an average of 1 million users per day. |
