Stop masturbating about re-run.
The election has been won and lost.
Dignitaries have been arriving Nigeria to congratulate Tinubu, your president - Jonathan, John Mahama (Ghana), Kenyatta (Kenya) and others.

Now that we know that, Tinibu cannot be declared the winner, despite the massive rigging, voters suppression and suppression of votes because he didn't made 25% in FCT..

A rerun is inevitable... Look at the subsection 3b, who among Atiku and Obi will meet the criteria...?

I think Mr. Obi did..

He got Majority of votes in 5 SE states, plus Delta, Edo, and FCT... That's 8 states..
From my records, Atiku only manage that in Adamawa and Gombe..

N:B.. "Highest Votes" & Majority Votes" are two different things..

Highest votes simply means you scored more votes, even if it is by one vote..

But Majority votes mean 50%+1 votes..

Let’s end this conversation by putting it as simple as ABC, having 25% in FCT is the same as having 25% in Zamfara or Enugu.
Stop embarrassing yourself on social media .

The truth is that majority of Nigerians don't like tinubu and if INEC force tinubu on us this country will not grow.
A rerun would have settled the matter. Let tinubu and Atiku go for a rerun let see who is more popular.

36 states plus the FCT mean once you score 25% in any 24 of the 36 states and FCT you’re thru… it doesn’t mean score 25% in 24 states and then must also score 25% in FCT in addition (if that’s the case APC would be crying soon as FCT was declared)! How’s this aspect of the rules difficult for you guys to understand?

Speak for yourself
It's the ibos that don't want him to be president because of the shame it will bring to them after all the bragging

Asiwaju has friends and allies everywhere.

Obi has no one apart from his social media marketers, that's why he didn't get up to 2k votes in jigawa

You cannot support APC and not sound like what you wrote up there

Read here:

Section 134 of the Constitution provides as follows:

(1) A candidate for an election to the office of President shall be deemed to have been duly elected, where, there being only two candidates for the election –

(a) he has the majority of votes cast at the election; and

(b) he has not less than one-quarter of the votes cast at the election in each of at least two-thirds of all the States in the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

(2) A candidate for an election to the office of President shall be deemed to have been duly elected where, there being more than two candidates for the election-
It says "and the FCT" not "and in the FCT". SO Tinubu has met the requirement. Keyword is "in"

Hello, sir. People staying in Abuja doesn't have any special abilities to give so much importance that a presidential candidate must attain 25% there.
So long the candidate attain 25% in at least 24 states (Abuja is categorised as "State" in this context), he is good to go. So far, only Tinubu has met this requirements and he also has the highest number of votes. What else do you need.

And what 24 states did he get 25%?

No Sir, the first condition says the candidates with the majority of votes in the highest number of states..

The second condition says, if there are two candidates that met the first condition, then the the candidate with the highest votes amongst them will join..

And who will the second person be?

If we should follow by the number of States won.. Its Atiku because he has more votes than Obi.. Although they both have same number of States (12 each)

But if we should define majority as 50%+1, then its Obi cause he scored 50% or more in about 8states..

What if Obi & Atiku refuse to participate in a rerun & insist on a fresh election?
Will INEC go ahead and declare Thief nubu as the president?

If they do, will the Thief's presidency be legitimate seeing that he didn't meet the constitutional requirement,25% of FCT votes.

If that be the case then someone can just go to court jejely & have him removed.

You no go sch? How on earth has this said he Must have 25% in Abuja. We have 36 states and FCT making 37. Abuja is not a State.
This only says he must have 25% in 2/3 out of the 37.
