Thats relative. If you're looking for speed, apply to private schools, but be ready to spend €10k per semester

Depends but some schools range from as low as 2500-6,000.

Hello house. Which schools still have their application open for admission starting in winter semester?

I know it can be sweaty... But you guys should still try to find out simple things by yourselves.
It helps you to be more familiar, involved and informative. There are more to find if you explore.

Yeah. There's a popular notion of German schools are free. So it's best everyone gets a reality check on what private schools ask for.

For example, in schools with my course of choice in private, the lowest I've seen is €8k.

Thanks for the response.
What schools have the quickest application process?

I can say Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University, Landau (formerly University of Koblenz-Landau).

I got admitted 2 weeks after applying, before application deadline and did not bother applying to others because it was my preferred.

Some factors might have affected mine, I guess. I was already in the country, a fair German scale GPA.

Exactly why it's better for applicants to do their own search. There are websites, daad.de/en and uniassist WITH A SEARCH FILTER OPTION!

Some courses could be cheap, others can be way too expensive.

You can say 8k for course XYZ, I say 3k for course ABC and the applicant is looking for course MNO.

Have you tried to search yourself? Have you used the search filter options in daad.de/en and uniassist?

Has anyone applied with NECO results via Uni assist and got admission especially for BSc. I plan to apply with NECO as I have a complete result but all C’s and I also have a WAEC with a mix, E,D,C,B. I’m not sure if WAEC Carries more weight

Have you checked the requirements at the preferred university and not just uni-assist?
You should find out. I have read many times that, for you to apply for a BSc you should have at least a 100 L transcript or this Abitur thing.

However, nearly all Public Universities offer free courses for nearly all courses.
It's not so false of a notion.

For those of you wanting to go for different countries for permit, I admonish you to do the right thing and obey laws instead of taking shortcuts. And read about the different countries where the Germany embassy is located. E.g., Ghana serves up to 3 different countries (Liberia inclusive I suppose). Instead of going to Liberia, maybe you might consider nearby Ghana.
Getting any West African residence permit should not be of great issue. You need to go there with your passport, after arrival, go to nearby Immigration Office and make enquiries on how to register your presence in the country since you plan to stay long, and ask for the procedure for applying for residence permit. It is straightforward but get an address in your name possibly, a something to show that you will not be a menace to your host country.

Spot on. But I see no reason why someone should chose private schools though, unless the fellow is extremely in excess of disposal money.

Virtually all top schools in Germany are public. All the TU9 and others like LMU, Heidelberg etc

Hello guys, please based on the latest trend from the German consulate, they send an email requesting for summer semester enrollment 2023 that’s after like weeks of ur interview. Please who have experienced this and how long did it take before AM was issued. Thanks 👍

Yes they did ask me for an enrollment letter 3 weeks after my interview. However, I'm still waiting for Am, and this is like the 7 week of waiting.

Sure you can, but if you think it might be of help to others, I strongly recommend you ask here.
But note that I have never used any African country, though I was living in the UAE before I did everything to study in Germany and I travelled from UAE.
The experience is always the same and embassies can be flexible in residence requirements, e.g. UAE requires 6 months too but some friends did theirs in 3 months and their ID was never even checked any point, including mine.

But for developing countries, the marking is closer. If they don't, host countries won't even get a chance for interview and it raises questions if an embassy receive X2 folds of applications from non citizens of the country within a short period.

Please when is University of Trier start of application and application deadline for the 2023 winter semester. Daad showed May 31st for the deadline but nothing was said about when the application portal for the winter semester will open. Please can someone assist me.

Alright thank you. The question is about a course offered in your school, Web and data science. I don't know if you know much about the course cause I have a experience in data analytics and I'm hoping to further. But I have never heard of the course before and that's why I decided to reach out to you

Well if you are taking the Uni-assist path, I am sorry it cannot fly for the BSc. However, if you happen to have a German language certificate uni-assist may consider you for studienkolleg. Also, if you happen to have a 100Level transcript that may also fly as well. You can get that in NOUN.
But just waec and neco using uni-assist "sope otilo"

In conclusion you can apply directly to universities that don't require uni-assist with waec.

- if I'm wrong pls correct me
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Temiodeyemi: 7:05pm On Mar 02, 2023
Thank you. I also have 100level transcript. I just wanted to know if there’s a preference between WAEC and NECO because I saw that they accept both.

More than 90% of schools close applications in May for winter admissions for non EU students. You can't start in October and expect close of admission in July always as an international student grin. You need to update yourself as only few schools have July deadlines.

I deal with facts. Mention just 5 schools doing so with links to their deadlines, and I'll post 10 showing you may deadline for Non-EU students

Landau

Give it a shot.

Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University, Landau (formerly University of Koblenz-Landau) is quite a serious despite being the poorest in the State of Palatinate. Uni in a small town, nice Nigerian community and international community.

Also look closer at Th Köln and Uni Köln, Bochum, Bonn, Düsseldorf, Essen-Duisburg.

These are better cities in terms of jobs.

I will personally recommend the expensive city of Hamburg. There's a Uni there for IT related course.
