What is he crying for? He lost pure and simple.

Was the rigging enough to change the outcome of the results? No.

3 reasons why:

1. Even if you add 2 5m votes to account for the rigging, Peter Obi would still have lost to Tinubu.

2. If the votes could easily have been tampered with at will, why then was there so much voter intimidation in Lagos and Rivers state? Why not rely on vote tampering which is far less detectable?

3. Tinubu won in only 12 states, same as Obi. So his win was nothing spectacular.

He won because he did fairly average all round the Federation.

This was because he was smart to choose a Muslim Northern despite the bad taste it left in the minds of many. Not only that, he chose someone well known unlike the unknown Datti Ahmed.

4. A divided opposition.
Tinubu only got 8m votes while the opposition got 13.1m votes. These were divided between 3 candidates.

Had Obi and Atiku joined forces, the results may have been different today, providing at least 10m votes. Atiku determination to be president, seeing this as perhaps his last hope, refused to merge.
