Both Jandor and GRV were meant to contest Lagos PDP primaries. They struck and agreement that will see GRV step down and deputise Jandor only for Jandor to turn around and pick Funke Akindele.

That was the genesis of the problem between Jandor and Bode George.

I watched the same Jandor earlier on Arise calling on the GRV he betrayed to collapse his structure into PDP so they can jointly defeat Sanwo Olu

Both of them would still not be able to sack APC in Lagos state contesting under PDP.

I've always maintained that PDP in Lagos is a very unserious party that plays for 3 and half years and once it's months to election period they just pop up, start printing posters and doing yeye campaign that will take them nowhere.

I'm one of the people that had hoped for a change of Guard in Lagos state cos I believe whatever apc is doing in Lagos can be improved upon. However I've learnt not to delude myself into believing Lagos PDP is the vehicle to effect such change. When PDP was controlling the Center it had looked possible but now it's far fetched. Now all they do is prop up lightweight candidates with no serious path way to victory.

I wish I had a cybercafe though. I wish I had the patience to focus on training folks hands-on physically, but I'm divested in doing it remotely.

It is so so distasteful, amongst the supposedly educated ones; why sometimes when our people complain about racism; I go just dey look like our tribalism no worse.

Here we have a bonafide lagosian who you can trace his ancestry going back generations being trolled by people who are probably non indigenous lagosians, his main crime is his mom is Igbo; or he cant speak the lingo like a local, like seriously? As if the children we are raising abroad are not gonna be in similar boat...

Personally I'm not happy with Sanwoolu role in how the ENDSARS issue shaped out and then how he's been doing slow and steady in terms of infrastructure unlike his predecessors, but then all the options wey opposition parties dey bring no be am at all.

I guess I will be like u this governorship election; I no dey vote anybody. I go dey my house; whoever ends up being the governor I no get issue with am. Nothing wey state government dey do for me before.

If those Nigerians don't understand English language or any other relevant foreign language, I assure you they wouldn't have won the elections in those foreign countries you mentioned.

You can't effectively govern or serve a people you can't speak their language fluently. It's a no-brainer.

The guy should have contested for a member of house of reps. That way, he would have enjoyed the Peter Obi grace and attracted less attention to himself.

Some of them who have lived outside nigeria for decades have kids, and it's certain that their kids can't speak their native language fluently. If those kids grow up and pick interest in nigeria politics but still can't speak their native language fluently, should it be used as a factor not to vote them in??

Seriously I can't even describe how low people can go because of politics. It is not like the guy is from Igbo or his parenthood or lineage is questionable. This is someone whose grand father, great grandfather are well-known and his lineage rooted in yoruba and yet they are casting aspersion. Well, I understand the upset by Labour party was unpardonable and unforseen, so everything has to be thrown into the ring but at least people should have conscience while doing that.
