I know some people who do not need dollars but were buying it and keeping at home. They bought it when it was sold for 800+, they thought it will rise above 1k.

they operate outside the banking system ! For reason best know to them .If a retiring officer collect 10000 USD in election he will not want 7.5m wired to this poor account.he will have to collect 4.7m Naira new Naira cash or keep looking at the usd in the drawer.

you should have been crying because that's CBN official dollar rate which is 460 now and protected to still rise. black market is almost 800 now.
