It is not his fault that he came late. All LP candidates in Lagos had issues. They were in court for months. Same legal issue is why we didn't see LP logo on senatorial ballot papers in Lagos.

The funny thing is that many Yoruba's who are my friends voted against APC in Lagos. Some unenlightened Yoruba' s think the clamor for change of party structure is a tribal thing (Yoruba vs Igbo), not knowing that its borne out of frustration on the performance of the APC in the state and the wanton looting of its resources, while using only a fraction for development. I believe that if Lagos had a more prudent and sincere government, it would be more developed than it is currently. Again, if a Yoruba woman can be overwhelmingly voted for into the Senate in the FCT, i dont see why Igbo or even Hausa cannot be voted as Governor of Lagos, provided the people believe in him. Remember, Lagos still holds the sentiments of being a former FCT.
