Good evening people For those that have submitted their family passports for stamping at the VFS Lagos. How long did it take? And did all the passports return back to lagos at the same time? I was tracking our passports submitted, got a mail that mine is still under processing in IRCC office meanwhile the kids own have been stamped and in transit to VFS lagos office. Just a bit worried as I was thinking since I submitted all together, they should have same timelines |

Hello everyone. Wow, the student thread has 22 parts. Don’t even know here to begin. I am the one who started the living in Canada thread here on Nairaland. Now it is time for me bring my siblings over. I will like to know about the process. I have heard by word of mouth that there are schools that accept students easily. Can someone directly me to such a school or schools? Thank you. 4 Likes 1 Share |

PLEASE Gurus in the house please help me My husband graduated with HND with Upper credit and did his post graduates diploma (PGD) and he also have Masters in financial Management (MBA) at ladoke Akintola university of Technology Ogbomosho, does it mean with this certificates he is not qualified to apply for Msc in a Canadian University? Or should we just focus in colleges alone. Please i need your answers before is too late for us. Also can we also use a CBN registered Microfinance bank for Proof of funds? Gurus in the house, I will appreciate your contributions. God bless you |

SandyDandy: Focus on college!! Canadian universities typically require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent for admission to a master's program. In Canada, a bachelor's degree typically requires four years of study. A Higher National Diploma (HND) and a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) are generally considered to be at a level lower than a bachelor's degree. some universities in Canada may consider applicants with HND and PGD qualifications for admission to a master's program, provided that they meet additional requirements such as relevant work experience, additional coursework, or standardized test scores (such as the GRE or GMAT). It is advisable to check with the specific university and program you are interested in to determine their specific eligibility criteria for admission to a master's program. You can also send a mail to your school to confirm your eligibility. 3 Likes |

the VO would most likely use that of IRCC. the VOs know that the amount stated by IRCC is the minimum expected from the applicant, its always best to show more e.g $11k - $13 to give room for the unexpected. Bamz555: 1 Like |

the VO will most likely work with the amount stated by IRCC, but to be on the safe side always work with an amount slightly higher this will give room for the unexpected. Your school has stated 11,500 as living expenses for one year I would suggest you work with that. Bamz555: |

Graduate Cert. is for applicants that finished their bachelor, HND, and sometimes OND programs. while college cert can be applicants that with their WAEC, and want to further their education. Cheers!! Heritagebib: |

For the kids to have gotten PPR on their visit visa, while you're the PA they'll be accompanying, your application is +ve and would be approved soon, because minors don't go through the eligibility check(s), hence, you would have passed the eligibility and that was why theirs got approved. Just hold your cool and await your PPR. Think of it literally, "if they don't grant you visa, na who go carry those kids enter Canada na"? Lol I had similar experience, though on the study route. Congrats in advance. adelejane: |

SandyDandy: Seeing a document (refusal) by a visa officer as attached, is enough reason not to use the Microfinance bank. You can have the funds transferred to your account with any of the commercial banks and attach a detailed explanation letter to your application. 1 Like |
