REJECT APC, EDO MUST REMAIN LIBERATED

In 2020, #EdoNoBeLagos was one of the biggest trends on social media that even the world could not help but notice that something of great significance to the political climate in Nigeria was unfolding in Edo State.

In using a farcical election screening to frustrate Governor Obaseki out of the All Progressives Congress, masterminded by the party’s national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and party chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, little did they know that by victimizing the governor, they were making him more popular to Edo people.

By the time Obaseki cried out and revealed the reason he was treated unfairly by the APC, Edo people felt challenged and rose to his defence. As we have proven to the world time and time again, no slave master can control us as our independence is non-negotiable. The verdict was clear and final, Edo people rejected Tinubu and reinstalled Obaseki for a second term under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

But like thieves who are relentless in their unholy pursuits, Tinubu has once again proven to Nigerians and the global community his true colours by literally stealing the 2023 presidential election. Now he is ready to consolidate on his stolen laurels by adding Edo to his fiefdom. That is why Edo people must reject him once again and remind him that we are ever ready to protect our liberty and independence.

Come March 11, 2023, we must vote en masse against the All Progressives Congress in the House of Assembly elections. By voting for the governor’s party, the PDP, we will be proving to Tinubu that we are bigger than him and his army of thieves, thugs and election riggers.

A vote for PDP House of Assembly candidates is beyond showing support to the governor or his party; it is a vote for our continued freedom, independence and liberty. Under no condition should we drop our guards and let Tinubu and Oshiomhole enslave us. We must reject Tinubu and the APC by voting strategically lest we inadvertently use our votes to lock ourselves to the shackles of the Jagaban.

The truth that some of Agent of APC cannot hide from the good people of Edo State is that the APC is an enemy of democracy and Nigeria at large.
There is no doubt that Governor Obaseki brought back decency to our state. He became the voice of the voiceless when Agberu was harrassing, beating, and embarrassing people in front of their wives, families, and the public.
Yes, Edo State has been restructured by the government of Obaseki. He has been able to reform the civil service in the state. So many people, especially talented young people, have been empowered with good jobs, free IT training programs, and empowerment programs.
Talking about infrastructure, the governor has been able to build roads that link to our homes, and villages within Benin City are now becoming new cities because of the road network. Now everywhere in the city has a working street light. He gave us a sure above-18-hour light surrounding the city of Benin for us to connect to. He is building and rebranding our government hospital to international standards, reforming our educational standards, paying salaries on time, and so many other things.
In all senses of humor, anyone who speaks badly of this great man for the interest of APC or political favor is a total enemy of the state of Ohio and its people.
We have to reject the Agbero era.
We have to reject oppressors.
We have to reject riggers.
We have to totally reject Tinubu syndrome from EDO state.
EDO people open your eyes to deceivers.
