While the 1993 election could best be described as the most transparent election Nigeria has ever had, the same cannot be said of what happened on the 25th February 2023

The 2023 presidential election can best be described as an electoral heist and the beneficiary knows that he is holding a stolen mandate
How old were you in 1993?
What technology was available and deployed for that year's election?

Kids will always be kids irrespective of their age.

No basis for comparison at all.
Only the Muslim - Muslim ticket.
1993 election was all about ending military rule .
And was adjudged the freest and fairest election till date.
Not the shambolic nonsense we just witnessed.
If the judiciary will be fair and just on this, I foresee an upturn of the declared winner

Plenty basis

Same Muslim-Muslim ticket
Same Yoruba-Kanuri ticket
Same SW-Borno ticket
Hope ‘93 and Remewed hope ‘23
Tinubu basically did everything exactly as Abiola did, down to the slogan that paid homage to his former Oga.

It was NEC...until the Apple generation, then it turned iNEC.

And since then, we've experienced the true tone of corruption.

If things continue like this, then I presume INEC is the greatest enemy to Nigeria development.

When d people unanimously vote for a candidate and INEC forge results and declare another candidate.

Option A4 was tested, affirmed during June 12, 1993... Can anybody try that in SE where anyone with contrary view outside preference for Naanu and his party will be lynched... Look at various video in social media where party agents other than LP were chased away and in thier inexperienced nature a LP agent sign result same signature for all parties.. SE really drew this Nation backward in the just concluded February 25 election...
Obi will never rule this loveable nation. Láyé-láyé faabada.. Mo taka osi danu

For those who don’t understand complex composition, what Daily Trust Newspaper is saying is that the just concluded presidential election was a sham.

That the election shares a lot of similarities with 1993 election, and might as well share the annulment similarity with it.

Tinubu is not coming.

Peter Obi is coming.

Even the results INEC is currently uploading to its IREV portal is already at variance with what they announced manually.

Tinubu urchins are shitting in their pants.

That’s why they’ve been cold for 3 days now.

Ndi ala!
Apart from the 16 states where Obi was announced to have had 25%, can you mention 8 more states where he had 25% but was rigged out?

He can only be declared the winner if he's able to prove that he had highest lawful votes cast & had 25% in 24 States.
To do this, he would have to prove that APC & PDP rigged and that all of his own votes were lawful.

Same thing now, we went for Obit because we want to decolonise Nigeria/Africa from the western countries still colonizing us on a low.

Also with the muslim/muslim ticket..... We can't afford to have a double Islamic people run this country.

And I believe, henceforth, we will begin to run a same faith ticket in Nigeria and that will equally stand!

Why against the muslim-muslim when Nigerian has been ruled by xtain-xtian for so many times. Go back to your history and find out. Stop the hatred for Islam. They dont hate you

This is definitely not an historical account, but a journalistic job to wrap up false desires in a semblance of historical truths. The best candidate has already won, so what's the value of your prayer ?

Mko won bt he was denied by the military just same way Obi won bt he was denied by INEC and the whole Country is wondering what is going on.

There is no jubilation rather there is apprehension exactly same with June 12.

30 years later are we going to get it right with our electoral system by doing the right thing or take ourselves backwards?

We have another Opportunity before us to do what is right.

I only have these questions;

Why are all the Easterners, including the ones that don’t stay in Lagos or even outside the country all gathering their support for Chinedu GRV for Lagos State governor?

Why Lagos? Why not their own state?

Then some dumb SW guys forming woke are shining their teeth like Sudan ram following them

Same Omo ale chinedu GRV that can’t even speak Yoruba but speak Igbo fluently
Chinedu GRV that cannot hide his disdain for Yorubas and his obsession for Biafra agitation
The boy has no single manifesto. He speaks like a secondary school student; he will double salary and give agberos job—- that one na manifesto.

A whole Lagos state, 4th largest economy in the world.

Let me tell you something, Chinedu Gbadebo is clueless and very dull.. but that’s not the business if the igbos, no matter how dull and incompetent he is, their agenda is to see him win.
If Sanwo olu likes, let him sponsor all of them to Havard and Mit and give them housing and monthly stipends, they won’t still vote for him.
While you think you vote out of conscience, they are voting based on their agenda

It is your duty to come out massively and make sure you don’t let their selfish agenda come to pass, don’t sit at home and let an Omo ale take over Yoruba land
Go & sit down!

d Lagos u are claiming ownership of even belong to we d Edolites!

They just wanted a change from the Military that had been very Disappointing and Ruthless.

(The case is of course very Different today. The dynamics of the Political and Social landscape is much Different. )
Of course!

I knw d number of my Igbo neighbors in Lagos dat queued up behind d SDP line dat yr.

I mean, igbos in Lagos MASSIVELY voted 4 Abiola dat yr.

So I don't understand all dis disownment of Gbadebo making d rounds up and down.

How Christians blatantly dragged religion into pure politics is what I'm yet to understand till tomorrow. These politicians have no religious motives, they simply want to win elections. Osun State has more muslims than christians, yet Oyinlola and his deputy were Christians and governed for almost 8years. Despite the brazen manner with which he funded churches with public funds, muslims never allege a Christianization agenda. Oyinlola heavily funded the Cathedral Church of All Saint while the State Capital's Central mosque was an eye sore. Everywhere was calm. Aregbesola, despite having a Christian deputy was alleged to have an islamization agenda in barely 2 years of his administration. He wasn't funding Islamic projects. Christians mobilised against his reelection in 2014 but failed because they gave a religious tone to the campaign and since muslims were more, Aregbe won.
Today, the governor of Osun and his deputy are Christians. No complaints. Infact, the governor's hometown is an ancient muslim town.
I seriously don't know why Christians won't let politics be purely politics.

If they continue to make national politics religious based, like they have done this year, I'm afraid Christians might not smell Aso rock again

The Fact and Truth is tinubu did not win. It was stolen. This is very clear. Now its left for Obi to prove he won which I believe he did.
