I acknowledge instances where comes are just out to shoot someone or a black man especially when it is a racist cop.

Some, more than acknowledge. They protest the numerous killings by cops.

Lmao... it is you who have serious issues with comprehension.
I said you support a book promoting equity for blacks and Latinx in maths but When I asked you if you want equity in maths for your kids you said no that is the funny thing here. you are confused

You lack the ability to comprehend. Let me state it clearly so you do not miss it.

I, buda, support equity in schools for all students!

Schools must provide equity in their teaching. It means schools must be fair and impartial in delivering education, which my kids will receive in school. My own children will then come home to me who will give them much more than equity so they do better than those who only receive equity in school. I after all have experience teaching maths, so why should my child be limited to equity in school?

benalvino3:
My issue here are you supporting something you think is bad for your own kids.
This shows your lack of comprehension.

Equity provided in school is not bad! It is in fact a good thing!

While I might want my child to receive superior treatment in school, I would surely not be happy if my child were given less than other students in school, so equity in school is a very good thing. I after all wouldn't want my child to receive less than other students in its class, or do you think I would?

If the teacher spends more time teaching my child so it does better than others. I would want that, but I sure would not like it if my child were the others. That's why equity in schools is good and fair. It is however not good enough in my own home where I will give my children extra superior education.

Just imagine if my child scored say 40% in a test, but the teacher decided not to be equiticious and gives my child an A*. If I were stupid, I might be happy, but my child will be dumb and long-term disadvantaged!

Equity, in my home, would be me teaching all the students in my child's class after paying for them to go to the superior school my child goes to. Surely, you don't expect me to pay your child's school fees and give it extra lessons in my house, or would you?

The rest is you not understanding what I've been saying all along, so hopefully the above will make you sing a different tune.

And note, I am responding to you because you seem to be trying to understand, though you insisting I am saying what I am not is tiring.

Health Secretary Hancock wondering when to deploy the next variant and scare people off.
Boris bans Xmas 5 days later.

Do you think he had the next variant in his pocket ready to deploy when he wanted?

So why were you supporting a book that wants equity for only black and Latinx student? Equity that is different from what white kids get. Equity that gives them a pass if they get 2 + 2 wrong.

Equity for black and Latinx students... white ones should not benefit from it because of what? and you are saying i lack comprehension? you are doubling down on your BS again.

So why did the book not say Equity in the educational system? why did it single out maths?
how will your children be taught differently in a class because of their skin color?

will the teacher ask them to close their eyes and ears or ask them to leave the class?

Ben, what you describe here is not equity, and I do not agree that the "book ... wants equity for only black and Latinx student". That's sort of rhetoric is what you'd hear from Tucker and Fox to whip up their ignorant far right maga base knowing you would run with it on their behalf.

Equity is what everyone gets. It becomes inequity once it's not for everyone, like me giving my child superior education. Anyone who gives a pass for a wrong answer is promoting slavery and stupidity. It's the sort of policy America promoted during segregation whereby black schools were not funded as much as white schools. I do not believe black and Latins are so dumb they'd want to introduce what took years to abolish.

benalvino3:
So why did the book not say Equity in the educational system? why did it single out maths?
It's one book. It could have been written by mathematicians. There are books about equity in education too.

benalvino3:
how will your children be taught differently in a class because of their skin color? will the teacher ask them to close their eyes and ears or ask them to leave the class?
That's what was done during segregation in schools, and even in classes. And that "differently" was never superior to what white skin colour children got. It was inferior, and some of us have been pointing it out as the reason blacks are underprivileged today. The same thing happened in UK, whereby black students were encouraged to aim lower (bus driver, nurse etc), while white students were encouraged to aim higher (doctor, lawyer etc). Parents who have kids now do not put up for such inequity anymore, and nor do current students themselves.

If you teach children that a wrong answer to 2+2 is acceptable, you will also be teaching them the wrong ways to live life, so they end up in ghettos. That's the sort of nonsense I would not be surprised to hear the likes of Marjorie Taylor Greene promote so that blacks do not replace her, though I have not heard her promote any such blatant discriminatory crap.

Please look up the terms Individualized instruction, and differentiated instruction. It might help you understand how far equity in education has gone.

Also, read the pdf I've posted an extract of below so you know that inequity in education is far more than a wrong answer to 2+2. https://ncsi.wested.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/24-Examples-of-Systemic-Inequities-Skelton.pdf

Funny enough, you show support for a book that supports equity in maths for black people. But when I ask you if you want that for your kids you said no.

Here is a pdf of the book
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://equitablemath.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2020/11/1_STRIDE1.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwiN4LzA18X9AhUGSkEAHSRFDtkQFnoECAsQAQ&usg=AOvVaw13Goj5AVlQmCSIGiyr2B1h

The first few pages state how it applies to education in general, and below is how it says wrong answers should be treated. Read it instead of regurgitating Daily Mail headline grabbers.

I did not blame the officer? Lmao... okay, i am quoting myself for what i actually said. and Notice the Bolds or highlighted words.

first bold: says I don't BLAME the Police entirely... what does that mean?

When someone says "I don't blame you entirely," it means that they hold some level of responsibility or fault, but they do not attribute all of the blame to the person they are speaking to. Essentially, they are acknowledging that the other person had some involvement in the situation or issue, but they are not solely responsible for it. This can be a way to express criticism or dissatisfaction while still maintaining some level of understanding or empathy toward the other person.

I hope this helps you

See the Second Bold: I acknowledge instances where comes are just out to shoot someone or a black man especially when it is a racist cop.

I believe something is happening to you and that cool username guy. Maybe you guys are now seeing how trashy and ideologically inept maga has become. In time you two will turn liberals. This is the way.

He can only fool the illiterates and non educated fans who think flying cars would work. Every other sane person should laugh at the idiot. It's going to take another two decades for flying cars to work in a remote village and another 5 decades to work in a bustling city. Criminal trump has no clue, no plan and no gravitas. He only has vengeance and retribution. What a mess.

Not scared at all, just irritated.
There's practically no way criminal trump will ever be president in this lifetime or in any universe. You know it, I know it. He's doing nothing to court independents, or bring back moderate Republicans to him. Take a look at his Liesocial feed and tell me that's not a man that is crazy and insane. You'd be stupid to vote for a vulgar man who only wants vengeance, and he has no plan to build on the Successes of President Biden.

He lost millions of jobs in his time, corruption was rife, nepotism held sway, millions of Americans died due to the Covid he said will go in April. A racist degenerate who dines with white supremacists and Holocaust deniers have no place in power anymore.

He's lost the crumbling faux news and his popularity is now getting obnoxious even to the extreme like Newt Gingrich, Amy Coulter etc.

Stop this fake chest beating, maybe it's therapy to you but criminal trump is done. We await indictments.
