Breaking!!! A group of armed bandits attacked the Maru Police Station on Saturday night, March 5, 2023. Maru Police Station serves as the headquarters of the Maru local government area in Zamfara State, Nigeria. The bandits had the intention of abducting residents of the area.

Sadly, during the attack, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the station, identified as Kazeem Raheem was shot and killed during the ensuing gun battle.

Mallam Mohammed Amadu, an indigene of the area spoke to the Politainment.net reporters. According to Amadu, the bandits stormed into the town on Saturday night and launched an attack on the community.
