I would be surprised if it’s true cos it makes no logical sense to give FCT voters inordinately more power than state voters.

One thing about these our electoral laws is that it seems our lawyers are either running a scam or are incompetent.

The constitution already settled it.

"Section 299 of the Constitution states that the provisions of the Constitution shall apply to the FCT, Abuja as if it were one of the States of the Federation and accordingly, the legislative powers, executive powers and judicial powers vested in the State Houses of Assembly, the Governor of a State and in the Courts of a State shall, respectively, vest in the National Assembly, the President of the Federation and in the FCT Courts and this vesting shall be read with such modifications and adaptations as may be necessary."
