PoliteActivist:That Is your egotistical baggage The point cannot be gasped without context Th context THEN was The North were not interested in Nigeria Go and check history You can have your own typical delusional idea of level playing field They reality is the field was not level or the North and South They did not have u o 20 graduates in the whole of Northern Nigeria at some point hence his bitterness That was not level Now there were graduates in Yoruba land who stayed on their lane but Ibos because there was nothing in their own land were moving to the north in numbers fuelling bitterness Nobody is better than anyone it all comes down to circumstances but you continue pushing this narrative. If you are so great where I is he evidence in any of your governors or states? The South had an advantage in education and he we worried about the strategic implication for HIS PEOPLE That is the fundamental difference Their leaders focus on what benefits THEIR. ShadowCracker:He is Yoruba. That is nonsense How is he different from Adeleke? . However he appears to reason like an Ibo man just like Anthony Joshua would reason like a British person We do not subscribe to chaos. We have kings and we lie down to greet out parents and elders. That is our way. It works of us In Yoruba land we don't operate Umunna identity Women inherit land from their father equally with their brothers I don't know enough about him but at this moment his association with Labour party is toxic His supporters are coming from a place of hatred They are not genuine stakeholders but haters of Tinubu. E do it love Tinubu but Yoruba are very patient whilst Ibos act before thinking. We must replace not for the sake of replacing. What you don't know is there is a Yoruba Nation agenda with Lagos at the centre. We cannot entrust Lagos to someone who will not push the Yoruba language in Lagos State I also do not know what he stand for really I would rather support Doherty or PDp |

0monnak0da: Did you watch the video? He said nothing about graduates. The example he gave was labour camp - after he was asked why their obsession with Ibos (no mention of any other tribe). He said because an Ibo WILL somehow emerge the chief laborer in the labour camp if you let things just play out evenly! |

How long will Igbo haters continue to use this type of propaganda and hate speech to win their political arguments? Most nigerians especially the youths who doesn't even know who ahmadu bello is have all decided to let go of the past and move on that's why obi was massively voted for last Saturday. Recirculating this video won't make any voter change his or her mind it's a complete waste of time. |

PoliteActivist:Like I said context. I probably saw the video before you were born ,a much longer VHS version What do you think he was talking about when he discussed contract staff The problem with you people is you lie remorsellessly or tell half truths to suit your twisted narrative When he said Northerner first policy or any other Nigerian on contracts did he restrict that to Ibos Now you are saying he said nothing about graduates Who was he going to employ contract? Carpenters? 1 Like 1 Share |

PoliteActivist:You are very good at talking but not listening. You feel you have won an argument after talking so much rubbish and then are surprised when a different reality emerges He. NEVER SAID IBOS WOULD EMERGE AS ANYTHING You people are incurable liars He said THEY WOULD TRY TO EMERGE etc He was highlighting a cultural difference He said the Ibos are the type of people who desire to dominate everybody and monopoloze etc..... You CHOOSE to formulate that in your own terms Basically he was sayingYou are greedy rather than listen you repackage it with your moronic smiley That was the narrative in Nigeria in 1964 and 1965 Akintola equally made a video to that effect https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNPzWW3kXVg 2 Likes 1 Share |

0monnak0da: Lol See him. He was asked why the obsession with IBOS (no one else!) My friend you are trying to overturn established historical fact in a NL post: Igbos tend to excell wherever they are, and it always elicits the type of jealousy you are now exhibiting. From the time of slavery (Google Olaudah Equano, Jaja of Opobo, etc) to the colonial times, to after the Civil War when they started from nothing, to now, the narrative is same. You are out to overturn all that with a hysterical post on NL. Good luck |

PoliteActivist:Was he asked only one question? You hear what you want to hear His answer was they are the type of people who want to dominate everybody and monopolze everything,if they are put in a labour camp within a year they would TRY to emerge as headman That is a lament about greed not excellence Is that true or false? Is that what He said or not? He was asked about the unity of Nigeria and his Northernisation policy too So stop telling stupid lies You can continue deluding yourself that is definitely one thing Ibos excel in self delusion. What evidence do we have of this excellence in Ibo land? Today they are excelling. In India You people are pathetic Are you still on this Olaudah matter? First he is not Ibo and there is nothing special about him. Again. Jaja was an Igbo slave removed from Igboland as a child claiming him is like claiming Michael Tyson? By the way what was so special about him? Who is The greatest home grown Ibo man ever? What is his contribution to humanity?I You people have the greatest inferiority complex ever and that is What this is all about 2 Likes 1 Share |

0monnak0da: Bros, what are you arguing sef. Ahmadu Bello was clearly saying that if you have a meritocracy, an even playing field, Northerners can't compete; that Igbos will (by merit) emerge as heads. ** BTW why can't Northern leaders of these days speak half as well as Ahmadu Bello and Abubakar?? Very articulate people |

0monnak0da: Those herdsmen couldn't prove themselves to be Nigerians. Cos if they were, Ohanaeze should have paid them damages by now. Most 'herdsmen' roaming about Nigeria aren't Nigerians. If you don't know this, I'd be shocked. |

BlakKluKluxKlan:lol been around for a while? Were you around when Lagos state was created? Are you from Lagos state? You cannot know Lagos state more than me Ko si nko ti o n bo lati oke ti ile o gba They said worse in the time of Agbalajobi versus Sarumi Edu Otedola The sky did not fall The truth is if Sanwo Olu and The current APC leadership could not win Lagos for Tinubu they deserve what they see You must do projects that will win votes 4th Mainland bridge will not impact anyone before the next election I know Tinubu has come to Lagos to protect his interest not to visit Akiolu Those of us who know Lagos politics know this He will spend billions in the coming days in Epe and Ikorodu We told them this would happen and what to do they did not listen. Lagos has always been a Muslim indigene state. In fact the most Muslim in Yoruba land Almost 100% of Obas in Lagos are Muslims check. I am traditional but Muslims know how to deal with these people . Muslims make more babies and that is what is needed in the numbers game Muslims are not happy and did not come out to vote.. If they do you will know why Lagos has 7 million voters Identify your people and PAy them anytime they make a baby and tax Chinedu to pay for it that is how to play the game Muslims are better organised politically in Lagos and SanwoOlu does not have that. You cannot fix long term issues in one week The most important thing is to secure the House of Assembly if we don't like the governor that emerges we will remove him |

0monnak0da: My friend he gave example of a labour camp. Is it not human nature to want to emerge head if you can? Igbos could, consistently! Today is it not Northerners wanting to dominate everybody and monopolize everything. Because they can! That's human nature. No one would stay just a laborer if they can be foreman! ** I'm impressed how articulate Northern leaders of those days were. Today it is "quom" for come and "fifle" for people! |
Re: Yoruba Youths Are Sharing Ahmadu Bello’s Speech About Igbos by 0monnak0da: 2:26am On Mar 07, 2023 |
PoliteActivist:It was not an example it was a parable Maybe you need to pay attention Maybe Igbo nature is different from Hausa nature Maybe the Hausa Nature has a hierarchy and structure about how a headman in a labour camp should emerge He was not admiring Igbo attitude. He was resentful of it. The parable is lost and wasted on you He said Igbos are the type of people ( indicating difference) who want to dominate everybody and monopolize everything and continued to issue this parable about labour camp You can interpret it anyhow you like What you cannot do is impose your interpretation on me If you genuinely care about this topic Research the date of this interview, and find any newspaper headlines from that time You will understand what he meant by OBSESSION. That was a polite euphemism for some thing more sinister that was brewing and which ended as it did Instead of listening you continue on this path of deafness and self righteousness talking nonsense about how Ibos excel everywhere. 1 Like |

0monnak0da: Of course he was resentful, the same way you are resentful right now - and jealous! I told you before, this is an observation that has been made throughout their history, it did not start with Ahmadu Bello. Generally, Igbos tend to excell, especially they tend to end up the foreman, or headboy, things like that - the person trusted by those in authority. Maybe it is work ethic, whatever it is - it is a historical fact. Check, even durring slavery it was evident. Same with earlier in Nigeria, b4 they took away meritocracy!
