There is no polling units in Nairaland and social media. Let his projects speak for him in the hearts of the electorates at the polling units on Saturday. Now you all here creating hundreds of threads on Nairaland. Same Nairaland and social media you mocked and insulted others that there is no polling units🤣🤣🤣 Hypocrites! |

References: ^^^ Not clear why this poster deactivated... Ok...these questions are straightforward questions and they require simple yes or no answers from the candidate. Fair enough. 3. If Yes also, why is he leaving such an important project that can exponentially transform Asaba, Delta State to run for Governor in Lagos State at this opportune moment? ^^^ He has the freedom to make his life choices as long as no red lines are crossed. 4. If No, how does he intend to manage his public office portfolio as Executive Governor of a state like Lagos and private portfolio as an Executive Director in a private construction company faraway in Asaba, Delta State without breaching ethics of corporate governance? ^^^ This is a matter for lawyers to interpret. Obviously, the candidate cannot combine his directorship of private construction companies with public office as state governor. The key question is when his resignation from these companies should take effect: is it before the election takes place? or after winning the election (if he wins) but before being sworn in? etc. Lawyers should be able to set us straight and there are several of them on here.
^^^ As far as I am aware, he has not. But he should. The only question is when: now? Or if he wins, before he is sworn in? And it should be made public. Not this Code of Conduct Bureau nonsense. These are real issues about character that the Lagos LP Guber ought to be engaged upon to duly address and clarify. ^^^ Some of your points are in the public interest and should be adopted. However, the same (or even higher) standards should be applied to those currently serving in government. The LP candidate is still a private citizen after all. Mr. Sanwo olu on the other hand has held a position of public trust for 4 years, and as far as I am aware, he has not met a single one of the proposed standards you have set for the LP candidate. To whom much is given, much is expected. |
