I don't think it makes sense. If they were abandoned or booted by a man out of marriage, what makes you think they would then consider married men better at handling them?

My thinking is that a man who has remained in a marriage must have acquired the skills required to keep and sustain the marriage. Women being the other half of the marriage arrangement will certainly fall within the scope of what the married men would have learnt how to manage. Hence the now out of marriage lady may find an experienced hand to work with. I can't explain my belief better and it's just my opinion, do not take it to the bank.

Maybe i should add that I am neither a fan of men chauvinism nor do I argue for the superiority of any s*x. I could flip my reasoning above to also explain why men who are out of marriage may choose women who have had a taste of marriage sometime

most cultures and traditions set it as a taboo for young men to date a divorcee, so there are pushed toward those married

Because there are no single men available to date them. I have read a story of a woman who abandoned her marriage as an only wife and remarried as a third wife.
Things are really happening

Probably easier to manage, no unecessary emotions, she won't also have to deal with his issues or bad behaviour.

Use him for sex,collect money and send him back to wife to manage his excesses while still being able to date anyone she wants to.

The man may have done that for a reason...perhaps on the grounds of infidelity and they may have acknowledge that fact.

We are humans... we tend to dislike those who do us wrong. So this suggestion that formerly married women like men who are still in marriage on grounds that they think these married men are somehow better able to care for them does not compute at all.

So which hot cake bachelor doing well for himself will knowingly cast his lots with a divorcee when there are other available options with relatively less baggage.

Well, tge married men are mostly comfortable and have experience especially when the have a peaceful home. I will advise any lady wanting to become a 2nd wife to look carefully and avoid married men that are disrespectful and insult their wife because of a girl.
