investnow2013: Exactly! If only ndi Igbo will agree to think home and stop their super-craze over Lagos. However, the biggest thing we must do is not just to promote the city. We should participate in processes to ensure good governance emerges. Which will guarantee the provision of basic urban infrastructure such as roads and proper sanitation to make the city habitable and attractive to investors. That is how to help the city grow when we ensure that only responsible people are in government to ensure basic urban infrastructure are provided and improved upon. 5 Likes |

investnow2013: I really overated Soludo. I really can't wait for 2025 so that he can go home and rest. Look at the kind of nonsense road he is constructing in Awka. SMH Even Ikpeazu does better than this now, common! THis is the standard of road Awka needs for God's sake or even better. 5 Likes

OreMI22: Personally, I am happy that the bigoted Yorubas are manifesting their disgust for Igbos. It gladdens my heart even more that Obi contested. Atleast this will teach many docile Igbos a lesson they will never forget. Obi contesting has forever changed the political, social and economical state of SE. Just watch, whether he wins or not, investments into SE and good governance will tripple. IT IS NOW TIME TO DIVEST FROM LAGOS AND BRING OUT WEALTH HOME. IT IS THE ONLY PLACE WE OWN. |
Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Owerriboi: 11:39pm On Mar 07, 2023 |
Dirty bitter frustrated aba pig, common shut up there. I am not Soludo fan but the roads he is building is like something abia can't have even in the next 200yrs to come. It is really heartbreaking that someone like you from the cursed backward shithole abia state is talking about roads. We all know that abia has the worst roads in Nigeria. Umuahia has remained a glorified village while aba has continued to be a cesspit of dilapidated roads and filthy environment. For goodness sake, the next election is coming but instead of you abia people to concentrate on getting a good governor at least for once, you are freely moving around as if all is well. Abia is the worst and most backward state in Nigeria but you are not worried NwekereNdoki: 1 Like |

You are very correct about concentration in Lagos. Onitsha has the closest semblance of the type of Lagos economic hub in igboland. I like what Soludo is doing in the areas of urban renewal and overall infrastructural developments in the city and Anambra in general. With the second Niger bridge completed, igbos should look towards further advancing the fortunes of Onitsha, which is by the way the most important igbo city. I OreMI22: 1 Like |

Abia has the worst roads in Nigeria. So whatever Soludo is building or is going to build is very good. Stop deceiving yourself, you should be more concerned on who will take over from the useless incompetent Ikpeazu that has wasted almost eight years doing nothing. Abia is yet to have a governor since 1999. You should be ashamed of yourself NwekereNdoki: |

Dirty aba pig. It doesn't change the fact that abia has the worst roads in Nigeria. Just look at the nonsense you are showing as roads. Dirty aba man that doesn't know what's good infrastructure. This is what good roads looks like. Aba pig NwekereNdoki: 2 Likes

Soludo was really overrated. Being a prof I thought he would have better taste in the qualities of road he is constructing. All the roads I've seen so far is worth next to nothing. Tiny roads, open gutters, no road markings, dusty roads that you won't even believe they are new roads. Is this the Dubai, Taiwan and Singapore type of roads he promised us? He should take a cue form kaduna and akwa ibom on how roads are constructed. The roads is an eyesore for Christ sakes. 7 Likes |

Frustrated envious slow poke and vagabond, the guy told you the bitter truth. All the roads in Owerri and imo state at large are dilapidated, this is why most imo indigenes prefer to live in Anambra because it has good infrastructures. . Owerri and Aba are the two worst towns in igboland and southern Nigeria at large. Onitsha is like America compare to Owerri and Aba. I am from imo, but truth be told, Owerri is such a glorified rural area. Even though aba is equally a slum, but aba looks better than Owerri. At least aba now has a functioning flyover but Owerri has none. Grgton: 1 Like |

The argument should be between the two worst towns in southern Nigeria, which are Aba and Owerri. Because Onitsha is like America compare to those backward shithole towns. Incidentally, imo and abia are equally the two worst and most backward states in southern Grgton: 2 Likes 2 Shares |
