U obviously have not been to Anambara, leave ur rented enclave and travel, I repeat no state in SW can stand compare to any metropolis in SE apart from Lagos, before u mention Ibadan, check the sea of brown dilapidated roofs in their city center 😆 🤣 😂

I have been to Anambra twice. Nothing good about that place.

Obviously you don't understand Enhlish. Did you not read the part where he said it was an avoidable situation?

Must you show that you are an olodo in a fora? 😂😂😂

How can one who claims to be vast, use the word “avoidable”. Accidents are unavoidable and preventive measures will only have to be taken.

3 trains derailed in less than a month in USA, are all those avoidable too? Do we say all plane crashes are avoidable?

Obi should know better! Using the word avoidable is baseless and unwarranted!

I love this news....sorry to anyone quoting me

Nigerians are sick

We all are sick

I will continue to celebrate 🍾 and pop champagne anytime I hear bad news from Nigeria

How can a sane human go to the polling unit and vote for Apc again...Nigerians are sick..how can politicians give you adhoc staff small money and you really rig the election for Apc...Nigerians are sick

Untill we put on our conscience and grab our pvc without tribalism, religion and petty sentiments And do the right thing

I will keep on saying it If you can't handover your daughter or sister for Marriage to a sick old man with dementia not physically and mentally fit and he is aware of his environment but you voted and you you want the same man to head over 220 millions Nigeria may you and your children know no peace

If you run mad now,Your family go dey run up and down dey find cure not knowing that you're here placing generational curses on people that are entitled to their own choices wether bad or good.

It's very improper and dumb, everybody made their choice
Regardless of how bad it is, everybody is still entitled to one.

This is the first of it's kind. In Nigeria people drive recklessly and fail to adhere to traffic rules. I'm sure you're guilty of this. Some people see free space to pass one way inside heavy traffic, before you know it, they're there speeding up.
When one is driving a government public transport,
<<1 there's need for constant orientation about health and safety of passengers
<< Alcohol and drug test should be conducted every three weeks, ones the person Fail the drug test u will be relieved of your duty.. that's how it's done

How? People should stop making statements just to score political points.

Obi is my man but let's be real. Can you control a stubborn or drunk driver? These BRT bus drivers drive like they own the road. Same applies to container carrier drivers and all those lorry drivers.
They just want to oppress and intimidate others with smaller vehicles.

There is a limit to what the government can do, we as individuals should learn to do better.

In a country where the systems work, can. You drive while drunk? Can you exceed speed limits?

What are you guys really saying?
That it can't be avoided or what?

There's a reason safety is taught as first topic in every engineering course. And for driving?

What's the first thing you're taught if you're a driver?

Somethings can be avoided biko
Of course, it's avoidable but this is not the right time to talk about that. He should have at least commiserate with the people and follow his lane. The statement also sounded as if he would have done better than what the present authority is doing. You guys are painting him as if he is a Saint and it's getting to his head.

He's no saint...
He did commiserate with the bereaved and also saying what could have been done ain't bad. When would have been the best time to say it?

Two months later?

Obi mind the words you say at this time when the whole Lagos is mourning.
Yes it's avoidable and its the driver at this point that drove reckless, don't put the blame on the state government. The rail tracks are well arranged and if he had been a calm driver he won't try to cross into ikeja when he saw or hear the sound of a train coming from afar.

You repeated Obi's statement, and same you asking that he mind his words.
This Obi issue had made some of you to lose your senses.

I hope so.. because what happened was suicide in my opinion and totally avoidable...
Does it even mean that that organisation has no duty supervisor that would have dictated that the driver was drunk and unfit to drive?? They just gave him keys and off he goes to kill innocent people..

Nobody is saying otherwise, but these things happen everywhere in the world. In the US, Europe, Asia, Australia just name it. But this is not a time to score political point, it is too petty & insensitive of him. The killings going on in the east could be avoided as well. Let's look at how to make sure these things don't happen again
Simple

Mr man, face Anambra that erosion has claimed 40% of it's land..chochocho

It is very much avoidable.
Let me tell you that 95% of these type of incidents are caused by the bus drivers.
They see a train coming but will want to cross fast but most times their vehicles are trapped on the tracks where the train then makes impact with it.I've seen it drive a fully occupied police Hilux to death and everyone blamed the police who refused to stop cos they were chasing a Benz at Woji Railway,PH.
Ppl need to be dealt with.

What's does at the bolded mean abeg?

He could have avoided the accident by being calm

See by trying to cross the rail line, you have to be very careful. Though investigating the case will give proper details on how it came, the train driver, bus driver, obstruction, faulty bus or train might be the issue or anything we don't even know but I pray God will dry the tears of all who are mourning right now
