timbros:This narrative will never stop being amusing to me. How exactly is Pochettino a serial bottler? Please name the coaches that will win trophies at Tottenham let's see. The Conte you are talking about is at the same club currently yet he hasn't won even a spoon or gotten close. He is even planing on running away or rather they are ones chasing him away from the club. 2 Likes |

popizaino: EPL, Serie A, Bundesliga, La Liga, Ligue 1 are the top 5 leagues in Europe. There is a reason they are tier 1 of European football. Don't compare what happens there to Scottish league. So Mourinho vs Grant, we should look for Mourinho's league (trophy won) as what makes him better than Grant but Poch vs Conte we throw away all the trophies Conte won and use UCL final to judge them? Continue. The mere fact that PSG is the biggest job Poch have done shows that Conte is bigger and better than him. Clubs normally look at your CV before hiring that is why Poch is Southampton Espanyol level while Conte is Juventus Chelsea level. Oga rest with your bias agenda. There is no comparing Pochettino to Conte. Even Poch himself no go gree with you. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by timbros(m): 10:03pm On Mar 09, 2023 |
Bombblacks: @bolded...Mourinho took Spurs to a Cup final and would have won it if he coached that final. Pochettino was dragging league with Leicester in 2015 and ended up 3rd. Who does that if not a bottler? On paper, that Spurs team vs their Leicester counterpart, who was better? Are we going to talk about the UCL that Poch went on a brilliant run to the final only to bottle it? Maybe you don't know of the EFL cup meeting against West Ham in 2017 where Spurs have a good chance of going all the way to maybe win it. Leading 2-0 first half on to come crashing down at full time 2-3 in their home. In 2018 FA cup semi final against Man United, Pochettino and his Spurs side was leading 1-0 comfortably only to suddenly caputilate in 2nd half and lose 1-2.... I can go on and on. There is a reason why Poch and Spurs is called bottlers. I didn't invent the tag. 1 Like |

popizaino: Stop comparing apples and oranges. Scotland isn't top 5 in Europe. Tuchel have trophies to his name, even UCL. He isn't a bottler like Poch. Abi you wan compare them? |

timbros:Mourinho didn't win anything. No shoulda or woulda here. None of what you typed makes pochettino a bottler. Absolutely nothing and they didn't bottle anything to Leicester. its absolute nonsense to say Mauricio Pochettino's side 'bottled' something they never had a chance or were even considered favourites of winning at any time. Pochettino over achieved at Tottenham. Why Is the serial winner Conte not winning anything at Tottenham and is getting chased away? 3 Likes |

timbros: That's the Raumdeutersque spirit controlling Popizaino there. Even Fraudiola would have made better use of the trio, Neymar, Mbappe and Messi, at PSG. Pochettino should be renamed Fraudchettino. No ambitious club will near the bottler. |

Frank Leboeuf: "Jude Bellingham’s not the priority for me. If you have to spend £120m, I’m sorry, that should not be on Bellingham, that should be on a striker. “Victor Osimhen maybe, Harry Kane if that’s possible. Will he come? That’s another question. We need a real striker." |

Frank Leboeuf: “It’s easy to get up for it in the Champions League, what we want to see is that you are at your best in the Premier League now – that’s where we are really going to judge your mentality, team spirit, your commitment. So it’s a big test – you have to win." |

What's with all this Brighton recruitments? It's okay to pick a player from mid table teams once in a while, but buying players/coach/backroom staff from a particular mid table team? That is NOT elite mentality. Kai... I want to get my Chelsea back please. Haba. 1 Like |
