PPR finally came in today šš
š„³ I donāt know how to behave. I ran downstairs to show my husband and we were jumping quietly together so as not to wake our toddler.
Timeline below: IELTS exam: 20th August 2022 EE profile created: 12th September 2022 ITA received: 26th October 2022 Submission & AOR: 25th December 2022 Spouseā BIL: 11th January 2023 Biometrics passed: 20th January 2023 Web form raised: 8th February 2023 Ready for visa email: 9th March 2023
No updates on the application tracker; eligibility and background check are still shown as āNot startedā till now. Donāt be worried if you donāt get ghost updates or any similar clues we often track.
By the way, my international passport will expire on 5th September this year. Should I submit it like that for COPR processing or try to renew first? Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this? I also would appreciate advice on what visa office to send our package to.
Thank you to everyone who has helped and encouraged me in this journey. Some of you have made such helpful posts that I have screenshots on my japa folder. God bless you all @Bilingualism @Graciouswords @Debie with the many eās @asetake ati beebe lo 31 Likes |

Good day Seniors in the house. I am about to start the Japa dream to Canada. I have read a lot on this page but i need guidance from you please.
I have Bachelor's of Engineering in Electronic and Computer Engineering. Also i have a masters in Information technology. I am also a COREN certified Engineer. My wife has an HND in Accounting and she's also a chartered accountant (ACCA). She is about completing her Bsc this year. I and my wife are level 12 civil servant with a federal government agency with over 10 years experience. We both have a cumulative of about 8 million naira in FG Contributory Pension (though can not be withdrawn as cash) that can be used as part payment for proof of funds (POF) I (aged 37), wife (aged 35). and our three kids (aged 8,5,2) all need to move to Canada for permanent residency. My wife has his brother in Canada. What is the best and affordable route for us.
1. Do I need to do WES before IELTS. Should I do WES and IELTS alone or with my wife? 2.Do I still have success chance for Federal skill worker or Provincial Nominee Program considering my age and wifey's age (37, 35) 3.If I am the Primary applicant. Can my brother in-law (a citizen in canada) sponsorship add points for me. 4. What's the minimum point I should strive for in IELTS. 3.Is study route a better option for us. 4. Is COREN and ACCA evaluated by WES. Do I use my MSc alone for WES.
Immense Thanks |

Use the CRS tool to simulate your scores, it will give you an idea of what you need to focus on. I donāt think the order in which you take IELTS and do WES matters much. Both you and your wife should register for IELTS and both do your WES. Your wifeās credentials will be rated as ā2 or more degreesā and youāll get the score for Masters. Aim for the highest possible scores on IELTS (check the CRS tool to see which scores give you the highest band). You have a chance in FSWP but you may want to read up on PNP or do French to boost your score. Yes, your BILās scores will count for you. Most of the answers you need are on Page 1 1 Like |

Congratulations. I tap your grace ooo. Done in Eight months Tell us ur IELTS story. Did ur spouse do ECA and IELTS with you? I had LRWS 8.5, 8.5, 8.5 and 7.5. My husband had LRWS of 8, 7.5, 7.5, and 8. We both used British Council portal (which you have access to after registration) to study. We had super busy jobs at the time (Big 4) so if Iām being honest, we didnāt study much but prioritized learning exam techniques. We both did ECA with WES. We have similar educational qualifications but with different bodies (ACCA vs. ICAN) so I had ā2 or more degreesā while he had bachelorās equivalent. 1 Like |

Thanks CRS score was 496 if I remember correctly. No special pathway; just the regular EE - FSWP. I maxed out my IELTS, maxed out experience points, got ātwo or more degreesā due to ACCA, included my husbandās ECA and IELTS and have brothers who are citizens. My IELTS score was 8.5 across LRW and then 7.5 in speaking. All the best in your journey; I pray they resume favourable draws soon. 7 Likes 2 Shares |
