Sanwo-Olu and Tinubu recruited ex-convicts, serial killers, and drug smokers as BRT drivers and wants Lagosians to give him votes. He is a joker.

....no brother, you are missing the point, part of a railway crossing safety awareness is a traffic lights and safety barriers.
this revelation has never been posted before I started my argument on this , now I think this will make you understand the type of person that useless bloodsucker of a driver is

clearly you're the one missing the point, my point is putting those measures and after that will you force people to adhere to it ? that's why I used the traffic light that has been put yet people still jump it some even do jump it when others are still waiting for the greenlight. all those measures are there but some people deliberately ignores them .that's my point.

Why you never asked yourself why others were waiting yet the bus driver came and crossed, from the statement it even show that he came and met others that are waiting for the train to pass . what did others that was waiting saw that he did not ? abeg no try to justify this mumu drivers recklessness on this matter, they are the types that jumps red lights even when it is showing red.

Look at these pictures below every well and see what rail barricade looks like.. most are made of irons.. u can't jump it without damaging your vehicle no matter how strong it is... You can google it as well and you see all kinds of pictures... one can only attempt to jump it when one got death wishes.

It is not true, yoruba people are evil people whose forefathers taught them to always hate igbos. But, we don't care whether you hate them or like them cos we are a formidable tribe.
Igbos and yoruba have no reason to exist as a country cos yoruba Ogun people have been killing igbos for rituals after war

that's why government has to privatize it and let investors take care of that.

Then they can hire private security contractors to secure their investment.
if them charge me and you 10K for trip to Abuja from KD, we go pay?

...Are we now talking about area that was opened or the barricade being in place? A barricade can cover space and prevent any kind of car no matter how small from passing through...Ok let us look at it in another angle...Please follow my reasoning slowing and see if u can understand...

You were behind a wheels.. U arrived at a rail intersection, there are TWO very big irons in front of us... obstructing your movement...
If you jump the first Iron, You will still have to jump the second one obstructing the oncoming vehicles on the other side, Do you think any reasonable person will do that considering the damage that will occur to the car if he or she hits the iron..?

Now look at those irons again and compare it with a traffic light situation you mentioned. Do you think jumping a traffic light is as risky as jumping a railway line with a car? considering the velocity of a train ... are they the same in your opinion?.
Now, assuming there was a barricade, and it was functioning...No matter how impatient the driver was, do you think we would have been talking about this now?

The driver of that bus is a yoruba-muslim. They are the only ones employed by LASG to drive those BRT buses.

It's possible most of the passengers he was carrying that day were South Easterners and he wanted to slaughter them. It's their strategy now!!

They should jail the idiot , if genuinely he was using earpiece while driving and smartly attempted crossing the rail line despite warning. We should start making use of criminal law irrespective of status in this country. Nigeria if found of sweeping serious criminal cases under carpet based on who you know. It will be a lesson for other drivers.

In countries where there are no barricades, no driver or pedestrian dare to cross a rail line when the train blares a horn or the train is in view. U dare not flag a traffic light not to talk of rail crossing. I live in the UK. cars/drivers respect the one above them. U dare not see a scooter trying to overtake a mini van, or a mini van trying to overtake or blare a horn for a bus. U dare not obstruct the movement of an ambulance or police. some rail crossing in North Yorkshire where i stay do not have barricade but accidents dont happen. So stop blaming government or railway corporation for barricade. Blame d dementia patient behind the wheels.

It is truly disheartening to hear about yet another accident caused by reckless driving on the streets of Lagos. It seems that no one's life or property is safe in this city, regardless of how valuable it may be. This is particularly concerning when it comes to the safety of pedestrians, especially children who are more vulnerable to accidents.

The incident with the school pupil who was knocked down by an okada rider is a clear example of this. The rider was speeding on the wrong side of the road, putting not only the young boy's life at risk but also the lives of other pedestrians in the area. It is shocking to hear that the rider showed no remorse for his actions and instead tried to downplay the severity of the boy's injuries.

It is clear that something needs to be done to address this issue of reckless driving on Lagos roads. It is not enough to simply blame the drivers themselves; the government and law enforcement agencies must also take responsibility for ensuring that the roads are safe for all users. This includes enforcing traffic laws, providing adequate infrastructure, and educating drivers and pedestrians alike on road safety.

It is time for all of us to come together and demand change. We cannot continue to allow innocent lives to be lost or put at risk due to the negligence of a few reckless drivers. Let us work towards a safer and more responsible culture of driving on Lagos roads, so that tragedies like this can become a thing of the past.

In conclusion, it is important to remind ourselves that road safety is everyone's responsibility, and we must all do our part to ensure that our roads are safe for all. Let us work towards a brighter future where accidents like this are a thing of the past.
