But it was a picture, and could easily be a frame that captured him at a point where it seemed like he was giving her a bad eye...besides, I don't expect someone that just got involved in an accident to be all smiles as they'd be in pain.

Try dey take am easy with agenda sha... cheesy

No be me dey talk am, apparently the picture has blown up on twitter and those are the comments.

Also, apparently the guy is deliberately wearing an LP badge on his shirt. A deliberate choice. Unless na one mischievous guy and photoshop

If the army could actually do their job, maybe we can put up with all that nonsense. If the bully is the one who can be relied on in a fight, everyone will unsee his antics.

But throw all these soldiers into the Bush with boko haram and they will start flooding your Instagram. We don't have weapons, we have not been paid, this is what we are eating.

Just a bunch of entitled wimps who cannot handle a gang of illiterates on motorcycles

Baba, Boko Haram is an ideological warfare it’s not necessarily a war in which u know ur opponents and their territories which will make easy for u to smoke them out. Most of the people who are Boko Haram extremists are people like me and u who live in their respective communities . Most of them are not on the battlefield until the fighters amongst them get depleted in numbers and other non combatants amongst them take up arms to replace them .

Boko Haram is an ideology that has been allowed to grow for too long . And the fighters amongst them resort to guerrilla warfare cos they can’t face our army for real

It's possible he had the badge on his shirt before the accident even...unless you're saying because he knows Sanwo-Olu's wife was coming he must remove the LP badge...the whole thing could just be social media people drawing their own conclusions off a picture when in reality what played out was something entirely different.

My point exactly.

You are a lagos state government worker, and you are wearing an LP badge.

In this climate, and quite possibly within an agency that came into being from laws passed by the apc administration.

Your oga at the top is appointed by the governor and you are brandishing a symbol of the opposition.

I even wanted to assume he wore the badge in the hospital.

If he is carrying it around, That is the hallmark of a true fanatic ready to take a bullet for the cause.

Ready and willing to invite animosity from his Co workers. Grv is already saying he will change a, b, c, d. This means people laid off. Ambode who was a member of apc gutted the civil service. What would a new inexperienced administration do?

Your colleagues are all sweating and wondering about the security of their livelihood and you are aggressively pushing the symbol of thier worry in their faces.

The man probably give side eye to everyone everyday

Any logical explanation/interpretation of this occurrence

https://www.nairaland.com/7605691/rain-worms-falls-down-sky
Possible causes:
- The animals were dropped after being swept up by heavy winds.
- Insects caught up in a whirlpool after a storm when
-The worms were actually poplar flowers — a tulip tree whose blooms resemble the squirmy beasts.

Mostly likely, the first cause.

I’m not getting this . Which agency came into being as a result of laws passed by the APC administration ?

And Ambode didn’t sack anybody in the civil service , he even recruited more teachers , LASTMA and came up with the LNSC . Except what u mean by he gutted the civil service was blocking the bribes some of them were having access to during his administration

You guy's just imagine the worst and run with it...when GRV was asked about people under the Lagos state employ, what he said was he thinks they're underpaid, undertrained and underappreciated, and when he comes into power, those are things he'd look into.

In an election cycle where we're having people incinerating humans and people's businesses in the name of their favourite politicians, wearing an LP lapel is a pretty mild thing, being under the employ of the Lagos State government shouldn't stop anybody from having independent political opinions.

Funny enough GRV is promising to increase the same civil servants’ minimum wage to 60k 😁( Even though I don’t know if it’s possible sha )

I find it funny that anybody will think GRV or any other party’s candidate will come on board and sack people in the Lagos state civil service . All these things na just propaganda and projection

Lasbca, laspps, lastma, lawma, lasepa, lassa, the new parking agency parking, the waterways people - all of them are agencies created by laws passed and signed by different apc administrations

The operating budgets for these agencies are also dependent on the administration

Anyone employed by or providing services to these agencies is a beneficiary of AC/ACN/APC

Ambode had well documented beef with fashola and he sacked several heads of agencies because he considered them loyal to fashola. This was a double blow - the state had spent money on foreign trainiing and upskilling of alot of these guys and there was a loss of institutional knowledge.

We have discussed this before. Look at oceanic bank. How many employees survived the ecobank takeover? Same for diamond and access

For me this on na doing poo poo where you eat, especially with how charged the polity is right now.

All that one na talk. The guy is not beholden to any of them. I have been there and I have witnessed it. Nothing is written in a takeover. Even more so when it is by a person with no actual governing experience

Have you not seen how Elon musk completely fked over twitter in less than six months?

I am providing services to my old employer and it is the same thing.

All that one grv is saying is just talk from outside. Very easy to do.

The question is do u know the agency the guy in the picture works with ? I doubt u do. U are only guessing and assuming . U don’t know if the guy works with TESCOM , Lagos state health service commission , the judiciary etc .

The guy can choose to wear whatever lapel pin on his cloth na. U are making it seem like because he works for Lagos state civil service , he must be a member of APC at all cost or show allegiance to the party .

If PDP , LP or any other party takes hold of Lagos in the nearest future the civil service will continue to exist .

I think the oga at the top of one of my clients is a greedy, incompetent, dangerous person who will destroy the company. He is already doing so with different decisions he takes. Do you think I will show that in any way if I meet him?

Incidentally I have a friend I trained who could not hide his contempt for the ceo of his new company.
The guy should have been their head engineering as he was one of the first employees there, but instead he is now out and on his own. We worked together on a different project and he wound up fighting everyone - the other partner, the client, architect.

That is what you are seeing here. A person who cannot compartmentalise.

The same way we spoke previously about the folly of flying LP colours in some parts of Lagos, there is folly flying LP colour in lagos civil service.

You think I will wear apc badge to alaba? They will just do me arodan and I will wakabout the market and eventually be deliberately sold a piece of shit, if I am attended to at all.

Within my close whatsapp group, they are fiercely pro LP. I don't say anything. Let them share meme of Tinubu snorting coke. I no go talk. Make my car no vandalise one night by accident. I have to live with these people so I will choose my battles.

U seem to have made ur mind made up already . Like Theflint said , the picture could’ve been a badly taken picture by the cameraman and the Twitter community only using it to troll Sanwoolu cos of the precarious situation he’s found himself this election period .

This one u have decided to lump it up with Desmond Elliot exhibiting his emotional unintelligence ; I don’t really understand . Desmond Elliot called his constituents children unprovoked and they’ve vowed to deal with him. He himself has acknowledged his folly and has apologized as at yesterday .

Now u are making it seem like u actually have a problem with the youth for speaking their minds during the ENDSARS protests and how they subsequently took Desmond’s insult . As far as I’m concerned , the poor guy on the hospital bed does not deserve to be likened to Desmond for any reason

GloriousG knows next to nothing about the guy. The guy fit be person wey don process japa down, e fit get inheritance wey e dey live off so no go need kotow to superiors as such, e fit be person wey get side-gig wey dey pay pass wetin Lagos State fit pay am...e fit even be say the lapel no be LP own sef, cause I did zoom and didn't see enough to conclude it was an LP lapel.

It's subtly endorsing an environment where people are prevented from having independent political opinions that creates the sort of fanatics and sycophants that are telling kids in an assembly that they should support Sanwo-Olu.

Desmond is free to think of the youths as foolish. It is his perogative. His mistake was saying it in public. That is why I am likening the guy to desmond. There is a limit to how much of your beliefs and emotions you can wear on your sleeve if you want to coexist peacefully, and if you don't want controversy.

I have said many times I live in festac where Tinubu is hated. The other day my kids taekwondo coach went off on a rant - Tinubu is a drug baron etc etc. I just look the man. Someone I pay to physically manhandle my pikins - will I tell him I support a drug baron who is making him violently angry?

Even on this platform every other day someone calls me out - I thought you were a smart guy, I thought you had sense. But I can see you are a stupid guy supporting a drug dealer who pees on himself.

If I make mistake put apc sticker on my car, there is every possibility I may meet a broken windshield if I park in some parts of festac

I was on a call with a client and I said happy election. The guy was like happy what? Happy robbery you mean. Man went off on a rant. You think I go say anything?

As regards the bolded, your argument is probably more like saying a secular company with staff that wear earrings, now has a client that's a deeper lifer coming for business and they then tell the staff to remove their earrings because it might offend the client.

One thing most APC supporters are refusing to accept is the fact that the Obi-Datti movement Also swept through Lagos like it did in other parts of the country . Under normal circumstances APC would not have lost places like Kosofe , Alimosho , Shomolu , and Ikeja the seat of government in Lagos . But it is what it is .
