The Reno u are helping to propagate fake news has already been called out for posting the same list u are carrying about.

I have always maintained my stance. I always stand by what I say. You are the one twisting everything I have said.

To propagate in this context IS TO ACCEPT an idea or believe and Publicise. I didn't accept it. I even said that I don't know whether is true.

Since you like making stories in your head, continue. I will stop here because I don't like going in cycles.

Someone without an agenda would’ve confirmed the info posted by Reno so as not to appear fooolish before reposting and sharing it. Only God knows the amount of ur whatsapp contacts u don choke with this same post .

As an increasing number of young Nigerians—the “Obi-dient”—gravitated towards the 61-year-old Obi, raising the tantalizing prospect of a breakup of the duopoly which has monopolized power since Nigeria returned to civil rule in 1999, Western media sympathy for Obi (allied with fawning portrayal of his platform) rose in tandem.

This was understandable. In Nigerian politics, Obi was the closest thing to a unicorn—an energetic candidate who spoke the language of transparency and good governance and appeared to mean it—and perhaps for the first time in a long while, Nigerians of a certain generation had real hope that governance could be set on a new pedestal. Obi’s political rallies testified to this newfangled buoyancy and bullishness about the country’s prospects, and disillusionment at his failure at the polls has to be set against this specific affective backdrop.

But if sympathy for Obi was understandable, that he came up short, a heartbreaking outcome from the perspective of his supporters, was also not unexpected. As a matter of fact, I predicted it. In the first place, the passion of the Obi-dient, pivoting on the cultural influence of the urban educated, entertainers, influencers, celebrities, and assorted agents mobilizing a nascent digital power, could only radiate so far. Structurally, as the Nigerian media goes, so goes its social media. The political map the morning after the election confirms this.

Furthermore, and for all his undeniable bond with young people, Obi faced a practically insurmountable challenge to achieving his presidential ambition precisely because of his failure (his part in this is a matter of debate) to forge a coalition with power brokers in the predominantly Muslim north. The choice of Kaduna State-born Datti Baba-Ahmed as his running mate was clearly meant to obviate the disadvantage of not having an agreement with the core north in place, but the founder of the Abuja-based Baze University is more technocrat than pugilist, and his political footprint even at the best of times was always light. Obi’s abysmal numbers across the northern region, where the presidential contest was more or less a two-horse race between Tinubu and Abubakar puts his failure to connect in the region in bold relief.

https://www.cfr.org/blog/lagos-new-york-london-echo-chamber

The entire article needs to be read.

This is just a third of the article

It sums up what we have been saying repeatedly. The Obidient and an over enthusiastic western media built up an echo chamber, one where an establishment politician was turned into a unicorn destined to win an election in a heterogeneous country based on his social media clout

Maybe for the next elections they will actually engage jarus in his bedroom tongue

You are a funny somebody walahi. You don't know whether is fake or true. Me too.

If I were you, i will wait for the official list.

90 percent of the quoted tweet didn't even attacked the message or call it fake. There are only attacking Reno.

According to our findings, Obi’s legal team include at least twelve Senior Advocates of Nigeria. Some of them presented in order of seniority are Dr Livy Uzoukwu, SAN; Chief Awa Kalu, SAN; Dr Onyechi Ikpeazu, SAN; P.I.N. Ikwueto, SAN; Chief Ben Anyachebe, SAN; S.T. Hon, SAN; Arthur Obi Okafor, SAN; Ik Ezechukwu, SAN; J.S. Okutepa, SAN; Dr Mrs Valerie Azinge, SAN; Emeka Okpoko, SAN; and Alex Ejesieme, SAN.

Even The Guardian Newspaper reported it. Everything align with Reno's tweet.

This thread explains what Alpha BetA does for Lagos state.
The main question is how much does alpha betA receive as pay and how do they get paid and is this pay almost the same with their other state clients or it's just unique to lagos state🤔

A simple example

If you are building a commercial facility in states outside lagos, it begins and ends with the ministry of works and local govt.

If you are building a commercial facility in lagos, you will pay fees to lasppa, lasbca, lasaa, lasepa, lawma, land use.

Drive a commercial vehicle outside lagos it begins and ends with lga paper. In lagos there are at least two other charges, then possible branding charge and commercial driver license.

I posted this but maybe you missed it.

You also have to ask yourself what is the business footprint and what is the attitude towards tax. Corporate entities pay their tax, no story. One man businesses will do everything to dodge paying tax. What is the bulk of businesses in the other states

Aswear. That's why I just left this thread for my sanity. I don't understand the things I see here.
Look at someone saying the obi movement is cultish. Just a look at the movement and you will see it's anything but.
Infact as of right now, there is a very deep divide between the obidients because of the Enugwu elections. Peter obi came out and endorsed the labor party candidate for enugwu state, Aisha came out and said God forbid, I will never support him, she said others should vote for nweke of apga. The same thing with like 4 prominent Obi supporters, jackng1, chude, .
These are Frontline obidients on social media and they've come out openly against obi's direction on Enugu. Does this look like what a "cult movement"? Does that not show that diverse views are welcome?

As i said, I don abandon this thread since for my sanity. Anytime I peep like this, I'm sure to see wetin dey dirty eye coming from people who should know better.
The last time I came here, I saw one account, joezinho, showing us pictures of fridge in new York and then telling going ahead to rant about how if igbos do anyhow for Lagos, them go collect! shocked I was reading expecting a reasonable rebuttal from anyone. Na so everybody dey laugh. Omo.

But is Obi not the Nigerian Trump? He is also propagandist, his lies are his facts, and he has a strong following. He has one way or the other manipulated their minds, working on their emotions, and they either believe his lies or ignore it, yet they see him as the messiah, overlooking his incompetency. You need to give that man a cause, and you will see another NK.

I do not argue the importance or purpose of ABC.. I am asking for the amount they get paid for their services and how that amount stands when compared to what other companies that offer the same services get paid.

How much is ABC paid for their services in Lagos especially when compared to what they were paid by other states.

I mean I pay tax in lagos and don't you think I'm entitled to that information? 😊

Shout out to ibime

elections are won in the rural areas

In 2011 - apc was this close to ousting Bukola Saraki in ilorin - then Saraki mobilized some deep last resort rural areas in the state to do the final cooking.
