“The protest occurred around 11:30 am. Governor Wike says he was drinking whiskey during the protest at 11:30 am on a Monday.

There is no time they cannot drink kaikai in the Niger Delta
You cannot impose your values on every one
Many kids in the region start the day with a shot especially Ijaw

Drinking alcohol does not make you irresponsible.
Not everyone is a Muslim.

A governor is supposed to be on duty 24 hours a day so that nonsense about 11.30 on a Monday is blackmail
Often they work through the night

What Wike is fighting Atiku for, is what he did in Rivers State of multi tribes. Ikwere ruled for eight years and handed over to another Ikwere man being Wike for another eight years! So,where is the equity that he has been preaching? Even if power should come to the South, shouldn't it be to the South East but he chose South West. Wike is not what he says!

Rivers state would not have made Obi president.

..but Wike later agreed that Atiku should be the flag bearer. He and his G5 only requested for party position( National chairman)as compensation which I believe in my opinion is not too much for Atiku to grant unless there existed an ulterior motive. What surprises me is why would Atiku sacrificed 5 Governors for Ayu?

Wike would ordinarily prefer Peter Obi as an option to APC but what is the essence of supporting Obi if the support would not resonate into victory for him? Obi doesn't have the required national spread. So,he was very calculative with the choice of presidential candidate he made and that destroyed PDP's chances more

Why should anyone be jealous of a refugee?
As you speak, I can bet with my life that you're a refugee in either Port Harcourt, Lagos, Uyo,Calabar, Jos,Kano Kaduna,Ibadan or Maidugri. Only a man who has no self worth would leave his place of birth to go and live in another man's place of birth despite the fact that he is being abused and asked to pack his bags and leave everyday.Tufiakwa,IPOB refugees have no shame or pride. For every other ethnic group, charity begins at home but for an IPOB fool, selling bread and pure water in another man's town is hustling and success. grin
Everyday you talk of Biafra but you can't even live in Biafraland, na for Lagos you want stay get Biafra?
Stupid Ffffflathead Nzobu Nzobu fool.
You better shut up before the owners of the land chase you out like we did in 1967.

You got it right, but remember again that political arithmetics and permutations go wrong in a lot of occasions.

You do not build a house and set it on fire because you intend to kill a rat. Ayu over the years has remain steadfastly connected to Atiku in political matters. Infact OBJ has to be ruthless with Ayu, when Atiku attempted to remove him in 2003. He brought in Amadu Ali, his trusted ally in the military to checkmate Ayu/Atiku and remain in power. There was no way Atiku could remove his trusted person. It was a very wrong political calculation.

However PDP was already on a free fall the day Obi left the party. Do not forget that Wike was laying claim to the ticket, in the name of financing the party when there were challenges. Wike openly ensured that Obi left PDP. Infact Wike while canvassing for delegates in Awka, told them not to choose Obi…that’s in Obi’s state. He was definitely bound to lose.

Now the greed of Ayu/Atiku/Wike has brought PDP to its knees. I can bet you that PDP will in the future collapse its structure into LP, with the overwhelming popularity in the former PDP strongholds.

Wike’s permutations in the Presidential election May have succeeded, with his foolish actions on the Election day, destroying ballot boxes, suppressing LP/PDP votes; but will it work for him in the governorship? Note that Atiku will surely pay him back in his own coin. He wants the PDP to retain the seat, with his own imposed man in position. Do you not see that Atiku will simply ensure that his supporters either stand behind LP or refuse to vote? Now Wike has the responsibility of delivering PDP with an agreement that APC supporters vote for PDP. With Rotimi Amaechi as the leader, do you think he will allow APC vote for PDP? With the overwhelming support of LP in Rivers state, it is possible that LP wins, inspite of the tricks, lies and deceit of the former chairman, who seems to have been bribed.

I believe that what plays out will determine Wike’s political future in Rivers state. His permutations may backfire this time.
