Hmmm. Zenith Bank
I don’t think it’s an indication that you would be debited the main fee in time though.

They debited me for the initial charges on the 20th of February, up till I’m still waiting to be debited for the school fees.
That's quite some time o. That's why I wanted to be sure before I use the other option. I appreciate your response. Thank you.

Are micro-finance banks statements valid as proof of funds for Canada students visa application?

Pls avoid it if possible, many people visa application were refused because of that. VO will not be able to verify it.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Jeboy(m): 7:33pm On Mar 14, 2023
Everything is calculated for the 1st year only first.

Bamz555:

Look at it dis way.
Ur school fees is 25k
Living expenses for 2yrs 20k
Miscellaneous for 2yrs 8k
Flight ticket back home maybe 1500k
4.4m in ur acct is 12,900cad
Which means ur money in ur acct can’t even last u for living for a year in Canada apart from school fees.
Now the VO will assume ur dad does not plan to use all his savings to sponsor u, bcuz 32k usd is 44k cad. U have paid 2k nd u have 12,900k
23k+10k+5k+1500 = your expenses for d 2yrs excluding what u have already is 39,500k nd ur dad has 44k in acct. So u see u using almost all his money. So that might be the mindset of the VO.
Plus don’t forget even the 4.4m in ur acct he’s d one who still gave it to u
So work on ur POF nd do d calculations properly Mk sure ders excess money leftover. Nd don’t forget strong home ties too
Shalom.

Mycolleague at work relocated with her family last year to PEI. She has only postive news about the place and even recommended it to me But unfortunately I was not given admission.

Please I need help, I don't know how to use nairaland so bear with me
I want to change my institution from University of Manitoba to Holland college after being refused study permit twice. I will be applying for Practical nursing but the requirements are a bit confusing. I am a high school graduate with good waec result(A and B) in all required subjects except chemistry which there was a problem with but I have my NECO and high school Transcript with good results too. Will I be able to get the admission with this result?and is it advisable to change my school and what other requirements will I need. I am just 17 and have no employer information
We have spent so much money already and I don't want to apply when I am not sure of getting accepted. Thank you so much to anyone who responds

Hi T, the first thing you need to do is to know why you were refused your permit twice, so request for CBSA GCMS notes to know why they were rejected. Looking for another school might not change your circumstances that much to influence the mind of the VO. The issues you have highlighted above are things each school has its on policy on so check with the schools. As it is you be going for an undergraduate course so there are other factors hampering your SP.

Generate invoice from pay my tuition or send an email to pay my tuition to give you an Invoice for bank transfer payment. You will have all the details in the invoice.

Are you trying to pay for school fees or deposit fee?

Yes I have received mine and I didn’t get any other email after the one that said it’s been returned from IRCC office to vsf office in Abuja. I just decided to go to the Lagos office in faith after 3days and it was available for pickup. I complained to them about not getting the message and they sent it after I’ve picked up…lol
Anyways the process took 2wks but I know it wasn’t up to that cuz the last email I got was after 1wk of submission, then plus weekend and the 3 extra days I waited bf going for pick up. If you’re in Lagos you can visit their office and check if it’s ready cuz sometimes they forget to send mails. I even paid for sms but didn’t get a single one.

Thank you , I just receive same messages o but I don’t stay in Lagos , and don’t know how I will get them . I only paid that 18710, and paid dhl for sending the package . Please if you know how am gonna get it in my state please help me out .

I ordered my notes the first time and the major issue was lump sum Which I explained
I am waiting on the second one but I am 70 percent sure the reason was my inclusion of a third party and my mum who is my main sponsor not having a huge income but large savings
My program was 4 years with tuition 19800 cad. I paid tuition and got a gift deed from my mum of 2m because my student account can't hold more. Her bank statement showed about 36k usd and 4m in a Nigerian bank which in total is far more than the required tuition for one year. I also explained how thr rest would be paid but I believe the vo had doubts regarding this because its a 4 year course. I was thinking changing to something less expensive would be easier to explain as her bank statement would be alright to cover both years
Also please if you can suggest any school that can accept my result for practical nursing I will be very grateful
Sorry for the long message. Thank you

Pls house I have a question bothering.
When is the best time to do a new passport, after submitting visa application nd also evidence of change of name along side d application.
1. Is it before decision or before traveling nd present new passport at POE??
2. Will IRCC stamp a passport carrying the new name or has to be the old one used to apply??

Good morning my people. I am just beginning the process as I have just received my passport. Please who has heard of M-Power Financing? They pay tuition fees for international students as loan. They seem to be very good and I just want to clarify.

Asides that, how much is required for proof of funds for international postgraduate students (on average)?

Hi Henny

If you don’t make can I send you a direct message
Please!

Henny52:
Are you not in Canada? These are Info you can easily get from ex students if you connect with them.

1. You can only renew your passport in Ottawa. I don't know what province you in, but you need to travel to Ottawa to renew your passport. The good thing right now is you can receive your passport within 2 to 3 weeks. Use this link below to apply and pay for it. Make sure you have your nin and be ready to pay in usd.
https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/passport/epassport/ptype/1By1C

Make sure you take all the necessary documents you are asked to come with on the day of your appointment. Trust me you won't be allowed in if anything is missed especially the bank draft of 50 cad paid to the Nigeria high commission. I suggest you connect with fellow Nigerians to get more info on this.
2. After you have received your passport, then apply to extend your study permit. Log in to your GCkey and Complete the online “Check your eligibility” questionnaire when you click on the "apply to come to canada"
One thing at a time tho. Extend your study permit before thinking of bringing in your spouse

Please guys how do i sort this?

Yesterday, i was paying for my study permit fee and biometrics (using a Naira visa card) but it was declined.

My own dollar card i applied for is not ready.

I have someone who kindly agreed to let me use his dollar card, i have where to buy the dollar but ENTERING THE BANK to deposit the dollar is a major problem as it is nearly impossible to enter the bank these days.

Please how do i make this payment?

Please help.
