djseanjohn77: In the last 4 weeks, I have seen the statement "Lagos is a no man's land" and 98% of that statement are from Yoruba people on Twitter. I'm referring to the likes of Ogbeni Dipo and the other f00lish CV writers in the UK. They're living good in the UK while they feed you with hate in Nigeria. You're only making big issue out of nothing. If you can name just one prominent Igbo man that has issued such statement in the last 2 months, I will deactivate my account. Don't bother, you won't see any. Those are parts of the lies Tinubu's camp tell you to feed your ego while they loot your resources. |

Acidosis: No one fed me with hate, they are things i confronted daily myself, i experienced it - i belong to whatsapp groups of people we schooled together, and when they started the nonsense, i cautioned, and these are people who enjoyed free education in Lagos, these were people who had lived almost all their lives in Lagos, but yet decided to bring politics and such sensitivity into a family where we see ourselves as one family. I cautioned, others cautioned, but they kept coming back with more provocative words and direct attacks, not minding the group's rules. At that point, we knew it was intentional. The comments section has been banned ever since it became a chaos. I am sure you didn't see how they cursed Toyin Aimakhu's child all because she exercised her own freedom? Similar thing was reciprocated across all boards, the violence became unbearable. See, one privilege i have in abroad is, my data or mobile has never gone off in the last 5 years, i have wifi at home and in the office, and my mobile is on postpaid (auto renewal). I have firsthand infos across all boards, I was amazed when other people started reaching out to me, guys that are naturally quiet. So, nobody fed me anything, I have a screenshot of all the words spoken, the curses, etc they are unbearable. I am not a bastard. I have 3 Nigerians as sustainability field officers reporting to me, 1 is an Igbo guyand 2 Yorubas, the Igbo guy a dare supporter of Obi, but he never ever brought that up to me, and i kept it at that. Last week, the company had to drop one of them, when they approached me, I based my decision on their assessment, and another Yoruba guy was dropped. If I am a bigot, he would go, no question. He was surprised, he knew oridnarily iwould not touch him, but that happening during election period, he felt differently. 3 Likes |

Edoreborn:You are not a Yoruba person if you are you won't say that rubbish about oro All this hot air is irrelevant. You write and talk like a child that is why I asked your age There are Tapa families on Lagos Island so claiming I am Islander is meaningless. Acidosis: As long as Tinubu is looting us, as long as Lagos remains a go-to place for starters, as long as Lagos is ahead of them all, as long as Lagos derives IGR to the tune of 45 billion monthly.....i think the looting is good. The state IGR was raised from 600m to 45 billion in the last 24 yrs, if it had remained fixed or progressive in the sequence others are growing, the population will not soar, and in fact, it will have a ripple effect on other States. before I say anything more, tell me your State of origin, and i will tell you how Lagos has impacted many other SW state. 4 Likes |

inoki247:yoruba cannot achieve anything without fraud? Your win is no free and fair. 2023 has exposed how tinubu has been what he is. Very dirty, nasty creature. He will definitely realize that the entire Nigeria is not Lagos. Opposition should reason their matter and petition INEC to cancel the elections held at that end. Let oro give them win . Every ballot cast there should be investigated totally . PDP , LP etc should raise the concern. All Obas in this land are men without honor. Fateless, shameless. oba egusi seller |

Whatever good this ritual rites may have for the Elegunsi and his clowns he should not behave as if he lives in the moon... An intelligent Oba would not turn himself to an instrument of obstructing a peaceful election in his state by preventing freedom of entry to voters on election day He should know that the national law is greater than any community, village or local indigenous custom it is high level foolishness for the keke napep to have a head-on collision with a bulldozer! |

Okoroawusa:it is. YOu cant do that when people go to INEC office gate very early and stand at the gate to ensure nothing goes wrong. IT is at night they do the collation of results. It means some agents will not be able to take part or unequal representation is what we have during the collation. Given that chance, a lot of things will go wrong. |

Eriokanmi:You don’t need to show the level of your ignorant in the public space. For anything to be entrenched in the constitution certain things need to be considered firstly; the custom and tradition of the people need to be considered and be protected secondly, the history of the people need to be considered thirdly, the past constitution will have stated how it was implemented and discharged to the public. You don’t need to say all that you don’t know that is why it is meant to always study people's culture because Oro (religion) is an element of the culture of Elegunshi people 2 Likes |
