Wealthoptulent: Whatever you do OP, never ever buy a BMW as your first car. Start with a toyota or Honda jeje. When you become very okay, you can then jump to a BMW or mercedes 3 Likes |

On your budget it's quite okay from experience and from cars I sell you should get a Camry 06 naija used and it's like 1.5 cause no matter how you get a clean car you still would get somethings fixed y yourself, so I would advice you use the remaining 300 to fix anything fixable to your taste and I mean to your taste even you gonna have change to flex around...my candid opinion though... |

Germanhunter: Just go through this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/4696641/official-car-comparison-recommendation-thread And get Heavenlybang and Nurey to help there with choosing your first car. There are also great people on the thread though. For me I will only recommend Toyota Corolla, Toyota Yaris and Honda Civic 2008 as first car. 3 Likes 3 Shares |

If you can't wait anymore then get the Camry 04/05, its durable and fuel economical + a good foreign used might be a little dicey cuz of your budget. But who knows, u might see. Most dealers are putting their cars on distress sell, so look around you might be favored. BUT, if you can hold on for a Lil longer and get the Camry 2008-2010. Its a more better buy and you'll be happy you did finally. Just saying thou 2 Likes |

With 1.8M you can't get a Tuks of those Cars you mentioned. In fact you can only get that Honda for that amount but that Toyota, a Nigerians used is about 2,2 to 2.5M for now. Keep saving, double your hussle and get a Tuks of that Toyota, you won't regret it 1 Like |

Germanhunter: N1.8m won't get you a "clean" car. From N2.5m you can get a clean 2007 Toyota Corolla 2 Likes 1 Share |

Go for Honda civic as a beginner, very low maintenance cost and fuel efficiency. I use my Civic if I have plenty run around to do than my Camry 2010 and my SUV. 2006 Honda Civic doesn't experience problem of legs or shaft pulling off from the inner cup, it happens mostly with Honda civic, Accord, EOD 1997 to 2004. And best of all just like Toyota you will always get a good value anyday you decided to trade it. I will recommend Honda Civic 2006 2 Likes |

Continue to save. With that figure you can't get a good enough Benz. I've been using Benz from c class since 2009. Don't go for a car that will turn you into a mechanic. I wish you all the best. |

FIRST THINGS FIRST. IF YOU DONT HAVE A BUSINESS START ONE. IF YOU HAVE, BUILD IT. IF YOU MUST BUY A CAR BUY TOYOTA GOOD QUALITY NIGERIAN USED. TELL A TRUSTED MECHANIC TO HELP YOU SEARCH IN CASE ONE OF HIS CLIENTS THAT MAINTAINS THEIR CAR VERY WELL WANTS TO SELL AND IN THAT CASE NOT MORE THAN 1.2M. DONT USE YOUR SEED MONEY TO BUY CAR |
