pretty1986: Nothing much I know of asides better remuneration, better standard of living, healthy work load for Medical personnel. I am not a nurse though, but I know nurses earn well in Australia without having to do 100hr shift per week. It's really a personal thing at the end of the day. |

AgentXxx: Don't opt out please. You need at least 35 years of NI to access the full pension. And 10 years NI to qualify for basic pension. Even if you move elsewhere, you can still draw that pension. See it as forced savings 11 Likes 3 Shares |

Lexusgs430: There are many families up and down this country with a sole income. A sole parent works to pay the bills whilst the other parent takes care of the kids at home. What works for family A might not work for family B, there is no one size fits all. The problem, I find, with 2 parents working to split bills is that a large chunk of it is spent on childcare which defeats the whole purpose of both parents working in itself. 5 Likes |

Hi all, Has anyone here tried to renew their Nigerian passport in the UK? What's the process like please? I've visited the website several times but can't seem to progress beyond the page where I input the reason for passport renewal. It also navigates to a login page meanwhile I don't see any link for creating an account (which I assume is required before you can log in, in the first place). Thanks! |

AgentXxx: The full pension is what you get if you have paid upto 35 years worth of NI or paid the difference by paying into it upfront now (I think that particular scheme closes sometime this year). Otherwise, you get a proportion of the full pension (basic) if you've paid more than 10 years of NI but less than 35. The basic pension is about £105.80 a week. The full pension is about £185.15 a week. Your employer pensions (whatever is there and accrued) is then a top up and the accruing income and interest are not taxed! As you can see, just having the employer pension means you'll have more than just the basic or full pension to live on from when you retire. Unless you want to work till you drop! 9 Likes 2 Shares |

This!!! You should have applied when your wife was applying so your BRP is delivered same time as hers while you wait and complete your final exams. No crying after spilling the milk, you just have to wait for the care job guys or if you're lucky with the cash in hand jobs which pay low mostly. GigLad: |

You can't get a share code without BRP 🤷🏿♀️ This was the reason we argued the need for dependents to apply at least 6 months before MA visa lapses. BRP is not issued for less time left on MA visa or less visa duration but hey what do we know. hustla: 5 Likes |
