TheSuperNerd: Great goal by Osimhen . He literally defied gravity. Reminds me of C. Ronaldo's goal for Juventus against Sampdoria in which he jumped 2.56metres and hung in the air for 1.5 seconds. How high did Osimhen jump and how many seconds was the hangtime in the air? 1 Like |

charlesemeka85: I thought of it. U23 will be good. For him. Salisu yusuf is a clown. Inviting overage players to the team and collecting bribe. 14 players have been disqualified due to been overage. How is he sure we wont need him against Guinea. The team will need a goal scorer like him. He can score the winning goal for him. We might even loose him to Togo if we dont act fast like adebayor 2 Likes 1 Share |

codemaniacs: Calm down. This is his first full season in professional football. U-23 is not bad. I would have even said U-20 but he is not eligible. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by lovewins: 2:59pm On Mar 16, 2023 |
codemaniacs: No sir. Playing u23 isn't an insult. It's an honour and should be regarded as such. We should learn to have these players go through the process, especially if the national team is so swamped they will likely not play. Olise currently plays u21 for France and it isn't insulting. He'll definitely get to feature for the Eagles soon but let's encourage this. 2 Likes |

Danielnino00: It really depends which Championship team you are talking about. For perspective , do you think Club Brugge, Genk, Gent & Standard Leige could possibly beat Newcastle United β Or which EPL clubs do you think they might beat β Below the last 8 teams in the FA Cup, in that group are 3 championship teams and one League Two club Grimsby Town FC. All teams will have had to beat an EPL teams to get to this stage. Sheffield United Burnley Manchester United Grimsby Blackburn Brighton Fulham Manchester City Not too long ago well last season I said Porto was not better than Fulham by comparison of players one on one. I still stand with that view. Mitrovic was better than any striker they had to mention just one player. Money get you Quality you cannot hide away from that. Ivan Toney and Mitrovic were top goal scorers in the Championship and now Ivan is number 3 and Mitrovic number 6 in the Premier League. There is no guarantee that your Belgium Pro league teams you have mentioned will beat Sheffield Wednesday from league one. |

Blueelf: Wow π³ Analysis or sentimental bias. Kane has scored 20 goals in the EPL this season, the best league in the world and you say he is INCONSISTENT π₯Ί VO has scored 19 goals would you say he INCONSISTENT βthis is the first season he has been top goal scorer in his career. Kane he been among the top goal scorers in the EPL for almost 7/8 consecutive seasons. |

codemaniacs: Make we dey calm down o.. There was a time Osimhen was also balling in the Belgian league but was drafted to play for the u-23 to help them qualify for the AFCON.. Chukwueze and Awoniyi where in the team too, if memory serves me right .. From the report, the u-23 qualifier falls under the FIFA international break and the team will be camping in Abuja with the super eagles...so that's enough opportunity for Peseiro to take a closer look at him..I support his call up to the super eagles too,but the u-23 isn't bad.. 2 Likes 1 Share |

komekn: And yet, the likes of Newcastle can't win the Europa league and conference league where teams from lowly rated leagues dominate... Nottingham Forest and Aston villa are the last corp of championship level teams to dominate European football and that was decades ago...Club Brugge, Genk, Gent, Anderlecht and Standard Leige will make a meal of these championship teams, take it to the bank...Fulham better than Porto until they meet on the pitch and get their ass beat.. Meanwhile, you stylishly evaded my question as to how you arrived at the conclusion that the championship is rated higher than the Belgian league... Only the world football authorities have the power to rank which team or league is better than the other based on laid down, verified and agreeable criteria..So from which of them did you draw your "the championship is better than Belgian league" agenda from? π 2 Likes |

Again, Fikayo Tomori left out of the English squad. Does he need a prophet to know he should pivot. He could as well play for Canada for all I care, but waiting on the sidelines to get a chance (he'll probably never get) is just funny. |
