Bossman5: According to the final standing on the table, even if they had played and won that game, they might not have qualified based on goal difference since they would be tied on points and H2H rule with Vitesse... I think a team of Tottenham calibre should be topping a group with Rennes, Vitesse and Mura 1 Like |

Kog45:Zeleinsski caused the penalty and then asked Oshimen if he can take it. How does he expect him to say no? He shouldn't have asked instead he should have given it to Oshimen for his hat trick. That's how team players do! Zeleinsky deserves all the smoke he is getting. Even Henry, Richard's and Gallagher were not happy with Zeleinski. 1 Like 1 Share |

Super Eagles very uninspiring list Ahmed Musa as usual gets his reserved spot Joe Aribo who doesn't even make bench the last few months, Frank Onyeka and Ndidi who just got back from injury make up 3 of the only 4 midfielders Imagine having a YumYum players, captain of the worst u20 team we've fielded in recent time making the list.

The coach in charge of our national football team should promptly release the list of players who will participate in the upcoming AFCON qualifiers. It is essential that only the most capable and experienced players are chosen for this crucial tournament, and therefore it is imperative that fringe players are excluded from consideration. To ensure that our team performs at the highest level and has the best chance of success in the AFCON qualifiers, the coach must make wise and informed decisions when selecting the team. This includes carefully evaluating the skill level and experience of each player, as well as their ability to work well with others and contribute effectively to the team's overall strategy. By avoiding the selection of fringe players, who may lack the necessary skill or experience to compete at the highest level, the coach can ensure that our team is composed of the strongest and most capable players available. This will help to maximize our chances of success in the AFCON qualifiers, and ultimately increase our chances of winning the tournament. Therefore, it is crucial that the coach takes the time to carefully evaluate each player and select only the most qualified and experienced individuals for the upcoming AFCON qualifiers. This will ensure that our team is in the best possible position to succeed, and that we can achieve our goals of winning the tournament and representing our country with pride and distinction. lovewins: Aribo is not a midfielder. Is onyedika and bonke injured Ndidi is the only DM on the list. So the coach is going to use 4-2-4 again. Iwobi and Ndidi as the midfielders. While chukwueze, Moses Simon, Osimhen and Ihenacho start. I prefer Moffi starting ahead of Ihenacho. 1 Like |

lovewins: We might need to resort to shaming some of these players publicly cause they are complicit to the decay of national team football. How do you expect as a player to feature ahead of in form players because you curry favour from your guys in the NFF? What else is Musa doing in the team? He's obviously not going to the next world cup, why is he still hanging around the team? Can't players who genuinely know they don't deserve a place based on current form decline invitations? Isn't it honourable? 2 Likes |

lovewins: Musa is slowly losing some respect from fans... People like the guy for his benevolence and leadership qualities, but he has gone back on his word that he would quit the team after the last AFCON... He should have retired.... Its either he wants to stay longer so there won't be talks about how he retired from international football at an early age due to age cheating,or some big men in the NFF still want him around...it can never be about the money, cus the man is already made... 2 Likes |

Danielnino00: Top players like Osimhen need to start declining invitations if the NFF will not do the right thing . You can't function optimally as a player is you are surrounded by mediocre players. Why frustrate a potentially great team by including fringe and out of form players because you want to do a few players some favours? 3 Likes 2 Shares |
