Buhari's relative who he made NIRSAL boss mismanaged #205 billion of agricultural loans. https://tribuneonlineng.com/reps-probe-nirsals-n205bn-agricultural-loan-n105bn-scam/ He was later reported to have stolen close to #90 billion of the money. Wired to ghost accounts and the likes. He stole another #5.6 billion meant for wheat farmers. https://dailypost.ng/2022/12/05/alleged-n5-6bn-fraud-huriwa-demands-arrest-of-former-nirsal-md/ He's untouched after the media frenzy. But, hey, continue the whitewashing of Buhari. 6 Likes 3 Shares |

OasisX:That's our prayer my brother. These PDP guys are ready to go to any length to make sure they retain power because obviously if they allow a free and fair election , LP will win with a landslide. |

monerozi5590: Are u programmed in binary or what ? So it’s either I’m for Jonathan or Buhari . Just like Glorious said , Buhari and Jonathan’s government have left Nigerians in a worse state than they met the country . What u attempt at doing is likened to comparing two students who tied 46 position in a classroom of 47 students ; I will not be part of that . U can carry on with listing the imaginary achievements of ur beloved Daddy , but the moment I catch u trying to use ur bias to paint him saint amongst thieves ; u will be called out as usual. |

Voting LP from "top to bottom" just for the sake of it is illogical. It only makes sense when the candidates have lesser baggages compared to their opponents on the ballot. Scrutinise the alternatives you want on the LP platform like you scrutinised the presidential candidates. For example, there's this guy, Harrison Gwamishu, running for State House Reps in Aniocha, Delta State: https://www.nairaland.com/7614401/lp-house-assembly-candidate-harrison . If you were in the know about the most scandalous happenings on Nigerian Facebook between 2017 to 2022, you should know Harrison. He endorsed and vouched for the infamous Chinmark ponzi scammer, got a car and other gifts which he refused to return when the lid blew open. He vouched for Ovaioza ponzi scheme too. Though he calls himself a human rights activist, he's a self-confessed cultist who also went to jail for a violent crime. Don't take my word for it - local-search on Facebook. In seeking to overhaul the "Establishment", we might open the doorway for dubious persons masquerading as people-lovers. This Saturday, it's not LP from top to bottom for me. I'm voting individuals with the best credentials across party lines. It should be the same for you. 2 Likes |

DissTroy:Ma main man. Don't make it look like it is only Buhari who is guilty of this. It's a Nigerian thing. Don't forget how GEJ refused to do anything about Diezani, despite the allegation of fraud cycling her head when she was minister of Petroleum. Need I also mention during the Aviation crisis, when plane was falling from the sky like rain when OBJ was president. He refused to sack or remove the minister of Aviation Aborisade, until it was obvious the guy was related to ineptitude. Even at that, Aborisade wasn't even sack, he was 'redeployed' to another ministry. So ma Main man. Don't make this look like all this is new. We've seen it play out over and over again. |

DontBullshitMe: U are not saying what I don’t know already . LP won 3 house of reps seats in the federal house of assembly and PDP struggled to win just 1 while APC cleared the rest . APC cleared all senatorial seats . So u get when I say PDP is a dead party in Lagos state ; nobody takes them serious |

iamoyindamola: Good morning I saw it this morning and it makes no sense, this guy is crazy, instead of ensuring his own people come out to vote on election day, he's busy threatening others as if that will stop that wont vote for his candidate from coming out to vote. The statement stand condemned, I'm glad the video has gone viral. 1 Like 1 Share |

BlueRayDick:Just trying to make the distinction. (State) House of Assembly - 1 chamber. National Assembly - 2 chambers : Senate & House of Representatives. You said PDP did not win any House of Assembly seat but that election have not been held yet. Since we have two Legislative "Assemblies", it's always right to make the distinction |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 9:09am On Mar 17, 2023 |
DontBullshitMe: I was talking to an informed mind who knows only Federal house of assembly is the only “assembly election” that has taken place as at the time of my post . |

ShaqFu: You cannot campaign on the promise of change and end up doing the same thing you once campaigned against. If you attack Jonathan for doing something, you are an hypocrite if you then turn a blind eye when or if Buhari does the same. It's the same thing I usually tell some of our APC people on one of our telegram groups, ultimately the country is bigger than everyone whether GEJ, Buhari or even Tinubu. I remembered when Buhari pardoned Dariye that was sentenced to 12yrs in prison before the 2019 election and how pissed off I was, some was telling me that it was the council of state that recommended the pardon when in truth it's the executive that created the pardon list, my question to them was; What will be your reaction if it was GEJ that did this? Politics must not turn us into those wey criticize because at the end, we will just be looking as hypocrites. 5 Likes |

izzou: Not true. The tax base in Nigeria is unbelievably low. Even to the point of ridiculousness. Both the formal sector and informal sector are not being captured adequately for tax purposes |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 9:33am On Mar 17, 2023 |
User09: i am not sure of this. what i believe is happening is that a lot of informal tax is a black hole that goes into some peoples pockets i drive a pickup with commercial plates. this means i have to pay local govt fees yearly. there are two or three fees paid mid year. unlike vehicle license - these have to be paid at local govt. you can pay your vehicle license in a bank. but these local govt charges - they are going straight into the pockets of the task force. there are a lot of taxes collected from artisans, hawkers etc - that are also going straight to pockets and not to govt. even with businesses - there are often complaints from workers that tax was deducted from their payslip, but no evidence of tax payment |
