Prior to the Presidential election, a certain thug that seemed to have access to high political offices in Lagos State by name Musliu, but popularly called Oluomo threatened people to desist from voting anyone else but Tinubu.

The video was all over the internet, but the security agencies turned a blind, like they have been turning for years. Apparently that was not the first time this individual has made inciting comments.

Yesterday, this same man resurfaced with threats, "vote Sanwoolu/APC or stay home". Up till this moment, he has not been invited for questioning or arrested for attempt to breach public peace, at least to the knowledge of the public.

Then I ask, Is the execution of the law meant for a particular group? Does it mean some type of people can incite violence and go away with it?

Nations governed with biased execution of laws will never be free from terror, because those executing the laws will turn a blind eye when a group of people are culpable.

I am calling on the security agencies to arrest Musliu, or at least make him retract his comments publicly, and on camera. This should be the summary of their job right? To maintain peace and order I guess.

Spoken words have always been known to be the origin of wars, genocide and hatred against people. And some people keep making inciting comments.

I leave my house to go perform my civic responsibility, and I see one thug coming at me ferociously, what am I supposed to do? Fold my hands and watch him to injure me badly or fight back even more ferociously with whatever I can, in self defense?

This is exactly how chaos originates, and the security agencies can ensure this does not happen to anyone by being neutral and disciplining people like Musliu, who are bent on causing problems with their words and actions
