Which part of Nigeria is Gift Orban from?

I have discovered that people from other part of the world also bear the name Orban.

How are we sure he is a Nigerian?

"Urban" or "Urbanus" is a Roman Catholic name. But it is very rarely used among Catholics in Nigeria and in the English-speaking world as a whole.

The real surprise is the way he spells his name. Starting the name with an "O" rather than "U" is more common among Eastern Europeans (Poles, Ukranians, Croats, etc).

Very interesting name, really.

He is an effective 3 point shooter! The Bucks simply failed to utilize him well..

Pacers for the win tonight grin

Na INEC list
Icon79:
Is this list official? If so, they better amend the list to include Folarin Balogun before England or USA cap him and Gift Orban before Liberia caps him. Also where’s Victor Boniface?

Don’t even get me started on the Ahmed Musa’s invite.

He is better off in Indiana. With the bucks he is a role player at best but with the Pacers he can be a bigger piece.

Yes the league is low irrespective of the clubs performance in Europa league...If am right Belgium club in Europe football final happened last in May 1990 in cup winners cup involved Sampdoria(2) vs Anderlecht(0)with a brace from Gianluca Vialli with our own Stephen Keshi marshaled Anderlecht Defence and I remember one Charles Musonda from Zambia in Anderlecht line up.

Top players like Osimhen need to start declining invitations if the NFF will not do the right thing . You can't function optimally as a player is you are surrounded by mediocre players.

Why frustrate a potentially great team by including fringe and out of form players because you want to do a few players some favours?
Sometimes I just smiled reading some of our comments here...one or two pages I saw us comparing Nigeria team with Brazil and Germany just cuz we have CFs doing it well right now,.Football is beyond individual talent but team work...pages back I said we lack midfielders who are in form but someone countered me and said Ndidi,Iwobi and others are okay, something comes to my minds and it was our match against Ghana 🇬🇭.....fact with this list Peseiro is a crapshoot for having Musa and Aribo on the list.If Aina is injured why not Ebuehi on the list.....yes beating Guinea Bissau not the issue but projecting a team for stiffer opposition is the issue.Peseiro scorecards with eagles so far is poor.

I think we have a future quality centre back in Frederick Benjamin. The only player in Bosso's team who truly looks under 20.

Fabrizio Romano is already reporting that Anderletch, RB Leipzig etc are courting him.

The less said about the list, the better. It is now clear that the only reason why a poor quality coach in the person of Pasero was chosen was because he is ready to kowtow to NFF corruption.

Why should Musa continue to take up space on the team in the name of giving guidance to the youngsters? Can't Musa come along as an ex-player to speak to the players when necessary?

Mr. Yum Yum Bamayi is just there to be marketed. No more, no less.

The midfield is a total shame. Etebo and Nwakali should have been brought in as options to bolster what has been our Achilles' heel.

I just weak.

Rohr was a bad coach but he didn't accept so many political call-ups.

I said that the very day he was selected.

But that has always been the NFF agenda seeking those that will Compromise and agree to Underhanded practices

The upcoming U23 Nations Cup should serve as a platform for coaches to select the most talented players available, rather than promoting less capable players. It is crucial that selection is based on competence and capacity, so that the vast array of talent in Europe and at home is not wasted or sacrificed in favor of mediocrity.

NFF politics is terrible than Nigeria politics, reason why am disappointed in Amaju.I thought he would do the needful by bringing sanity into the system but left NFF with the same bad image.Imagine Super eagles list with yum yum fc player.
