bro4u: The party would also die a natural death as the contest for power continues. The many people who have won under LP are wolves in sheep's clothing who have moved into the party from PDP/APC/APGA, few from SDP. Many would decamp because the party doesn't have anything to use to hold party members down, I forsee a national leadership tussle once the euphoria of elections die down. There would be contentions from the Igbo/christian elements to take over the party it is inevitable as there is a major influx and the major areas of influence are Igbo people. It is possible more disgruntled individuals from NC i.e Ortom, Dogara may move and cause challenges to the current leadership which lacks political clout. Their conflict of interest in their relationship with NLC, the mass hysteria of populism and Obi savior complex would be their downfall. Obi I don't see overturning thie election in court no matter the desires of his supporters pigs wouldn't fly, with that a successful Tinubu first term may yield an APC victory in 2027 and return of power to the north after that, in 16years the nature of politics in Nigeria I pray would have moved past the savior complex & cult of personality of a Buhari, Atiku, Obi Asiwaju etc which doesn't bode well for LP 2 Likes |

babydioku: On 27 May 2022, the party's membership and support increased drastically as Asiwaju Tinubu smartly manipulated the naive former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, to become flag bearer of Labor Party as strategy to drain competition and use Obi to deny PDP from putting up a strong fight in 2023 Presidential election, which Tinubu won. |

bakynes: That’s not true. All what we are saying happen 2007. He resign and left PDP for Olusegun Agagu when he was vying for second term. He went to Labour and won the election but was rigged to favour Agagu. Mimiko reclaim his mandate in court and later decamped but he won his first term election under Labour 1 Like |

It has been hijacked by a particular Tribe and their ethnoreligious leader Mr Peter Obi. The same man stole Anambra money and invested it in Panama. Don't believe Seun Kuti on this. Google it |

[quote author=Dentidon post=121823031]It's been hijacked by Ipob apologists who were previously in PDP! It was previously a PDP low budget party occupied by PDP members but now fully occupied by Ipob miscreants.. That said, no room for that Yoruba hater and Ipob terrorist, Chinedu Rhodes.. Go and elect him in your Ipob region! Lagos isn't for one useless riffraff without track records apart from supporting Ipob terrorism and hating Yoruba [what substance is in your brain? ] |

Minjim: Do you actually understand what they meant by structures? I don't think you do. Take for instance, LP has no ward excos in many wards, no local excos in many local govts, even at states level, you may even see one or two states where they don't have excos . That's what they meant by structures |
