tushqueen: Habitat Zander 2 Drawer Desk I use the Grey two tone, it’s a very beautiful match with that chair. But It’s not adjustable. I like the adjustable desk designs too. That’s what I am eyeing. Will like to stand for like 2hrs everyday. I will advise you to get an adjustable one instead of the above. 6 Likes |

When I mention resit/re-assesment about my school, some people here think I am lying about it. Most of the schools are becoming something else. They don't care how much you pay, they do what they like these days. It is well. yolkman20: |

Maureen4sure: I understand you might be emotional with the situation at hand and we as humans tend to lash out when under pressure. But I would advise to keep a cool head and please lets not resort to name calling. I empathise with you and believe strongly that you would get a solution to your issue shortly. Keep faith. 4 Likes |

yolkman20: Check somersetcare & nouveau care(currently have an opening for care assistant with sponsorship) if you don't mind. You can try other care homes in South and Midlands. Those areas do not have much hands hence, getting COS could be easier. All the best 8 Likes 1 Share |

That's good! Hopefully, you'd get a positive response. You still have a leg to stand on because of your course duration. The reason behind resitting modules within 3 months is because the system won't allow a resit of e.g. an autumn module in spring. It just doesn't make sense that you'd have 160/150 credits and be awarded a PgDip! You need to pay your head of department and the Dean a visit. You owe Lexus an apology. Same Lexus that anybody can chat with privately? That paid for someone to stay in an hotel? @Lexus, abeg no vex. Form A is the official route to pay for Nigerian students so nothing wrong in using it. The problem is the "Nigerian factor" and a lot UK universities have been quite considerate. However, some students keep quite and don't inform the university on time. There are a lot of good people in this group supplying valuable information. Maureen4sure: 2 Likes |

Thank you. I must have missed your response. The visa was denied. Apart from making reference to previous EUSS application made, it also addressed her as though she is from Pakistan. Mama has never been to Pakistan! LagosismyHome: |

By the way what do you think about us storming the high commission? Please does anyone have any experience doing this? If we go there , would they let us in ? Do we have any chance of laying hands on our passport? |

bigtt76:She has the best qualification but na animal science she study and we don't really know the job market for animal science over there, and this my wife is not ready to go for PhD again o . I stand a better chance of getting a teaching job after my PGCE or even without going for PGCE. I have been doing the job in UAE before some miscreants came to poor sand in my garri and my company wouldn't allow me work without a permit due visa ban on Nigerians. But the job is originally from UK. |

Lolli2pop: I will advice you to go there on Monday and make sure you get there early enough to see them. Take your confirmation slip with you with a copy of your previous booking appointment slip and beg the man outside to let you in so that you can sort it out. In fact when I went for my biometric in the first week of this month, someone that I met told me that his friend that did his own in February got it in 2 weeks and I will just advice you to go there. Please go there and let me have an update. I will be planning to go there as well at the end of this month of I didn’t receive mine. I am very sure your passport is ready just that they delay it, probably because the current one hasn’t expired yet. Please when will the current one expiring? |

gergemam: I love the soft stone throw. There are people using £500 - £1000 adjustable desk. For the way part: concept is get the job before making the purchase. If you are working fully remote, you know you need to get comfortable seat. If you spend longer hours on your desk, you know you may be needing an adjustable desk so you can seat and stand. Also put the item you are eyeing in your trolley/cart, you may be alerted when the price drops. E no pass like that. There are £300 chairs that may not give you a better comfort as a £95 one. 4 Likes |

Lolli2pop: Is it true that there aren't available appointment dates for all Schengen countries until September? I tried a few countries during the week and all saying no available dates now, try again later. Then I read on Schengen Visa Info that no dates for appts until Sept. I find that kinda hard to believe though as in how does the same backlogs situation apply to all 26 countries at the same time. |
