I have no problem if you think different. For me, movies quality were probably better in the 90s and 2000s. But for TV shows I don't think so.

How many 90s to 2000s TV shows I can think of that can match GOT, Vikings, Homeland etc.
I can only think of The Wire and The Sopranos.

I love the juxtaposition between Thorfinn/ Einar and King Canute

While Thorfinn and Einar are celebrating their freedom that is to come from slavery and are looking at the light at the end of the tunnel...Canute is going down a darker and darker path

King Canute's ambition mehn...
Killing is own brother who has helped and cared for him since childhood

I remember his father's words in Season 1 when he stated that the crown has a mind of its own...
Canute dismissed it saying that the crown does not lead men to war or kill people etc

Canute has no friends or loved ones anymore...since everyone is an obstacle to his ambition of Ruling the Northern Sea

Carnival row season 2, after the final episode, i can now say the entire carnival row season 2 is 8/10 for me.

It's been a beautiful ride, this is one of the best fantasy series in recent times and easily one of the best ever.
They really tried in this season 2 and up their game. Really!! I have no complain at all.

It's been hits back to back and the series is the embodiment of mystery, no one thought the sparas will be who he is, that revelation was a hit back to back.
Remember i said the series made you not know what's going to happen next.
This is one of the most unpredictable series I've watched in recent times.

Since there won't be season 3, kudos to the entire crew.

He's a piece of shît, jealous of his own brother and will do anything to bring him down

I also don't like Mike's character this season.
It feels like they are butchering his character.
He's making dumb choices

For some reason he can't let things go...
The person he's targeting has even forgotten he exists...
All he's doing is putting his family in danger for no reason...

This is not the Mike I know...Mike is rational, he's smart and tactical...
And most of all, he doesn't get too absorbed in things...
Even when he did revenge for his son's death, he planned it out carefully and even gave himself an alibi...
