No fear boss. We are actually diversifying our Economy. Non Oil Revenue might go up this year. We are expecting 10 trillion from the Non Oil Revenue. FIRS might make it public soon according to an interview I watched today on Arise TV.

We now have Steel Producing Plant in Nigeria. Na foreign investment sha. African Natural Resources and Mines Limited. Is situated in Southern Kaduna, Kaduna State. Another source of foreign exchange.

When was this commissioned?? How much was invested? How big is the facility and production capacity?

I actually found it very weird that we are still waiting for the day Ajaokuta would be rehabilitated and functional when we can easily build a new steel plant even if it's private investment.
Cos I was surprised I saw Nigeria having a steel industry on Wikipedia few days ago and I was surprised what steel plant do we have (apart from the ALSCON smelting company in the south?

The way you continue to press my balls for this endsars matter. grin cheesy grin
Oga Abeg free my scrotal sac na. cheesy cheesy

Anyways I believe I have fully documented my thought processes concerning that endsars issue. Coming on the heels of the black lives matter movement which I had initially supported but which ended up being devolving into something else entirely. I was extremely apprehensive and skeptical of the endsars protest and at a point even believed that it was yahoo boys who just wanted free reign to scam more. But anyways, I think you can agree with me in the end that the term "massacre" was severely overstated. Right?
One person dead is very unfortunate and shouldn't happen but in the context of that night, people were alluding that more than 50 youths had just been shot dead by the soldiers. Something we now know for sure wasn't true.
This guy cheesy

Please is there anybody on this thread with real life experience of using solar or knowing someone who uses solar himself in his own house? I don't mean, "theoretical calculations". Like real life usage.

I would like to know the person's experience. The challenges, the benefits. The overall difference from nepa and gen. Long term challenges. Anybody?

1) solar is NOT a replacement for NEPA or GEN. too many people try to sell it as if it is. maybe in obodo oyibo where you have piped gas and can take your clothes to the laundry.

you will have some items in your place that draw power [eg iron] that should not be used with solar installation

2] a viable solar installation is COST intensive. not just your panels,MPPT , inverter batteries etal - but also the changes you may have to make. you need modern 'inverter' fridge and freezer. also inverter acs. forget all the talk about low power consumption, what they do is they smooth out the high starting current and periodic current surges during operation. that said, your modern fridge and freezer do not draw power.

3] you also have the problem of END users. your end users may not have your disciplne. you tell them dont use iron, they use it behind your back. they bring in their friends laptop to charge. some may even 'quickly' boil water for 5 minutes. also you may now become acclimatized with the low quality electronics being thrown around this country. on the solar thread, someone described how one of those chinese phone chargers kept tripping off his installation.

4] nigeria is full of dishonest businessmen who will sell you substandard items at rates of genuine items. a large number of issues you experience ultimately come down to you being sold a fake/imitation/refurb/mislabeled item. you are sold 250w solar panels branded as 400w. you are sold 100ah batteries packaged as 200w

i did some research . you may want to consider felicity solar. i m saying this because of all the local brands sold here, they were the only one whose website checked out, and who had actual literature. this is a cavaet

if you really want to learn about solar related stuff go here.

https://www.nairaland.com/390522/solar-energy-complement-fta

the other challenge is that a solar installation require maintenance

you have to periodically clean the panels
also , the batteries LIKE all batteries will degrade over time. the rate depends on use, quality and storage conditions
my summary - you can use solar, but you will use it in spartan conditions if you want it to last.

edit -damn - i thought the spambot would get this

At this point, I won't fight against any region agitating for their resource control going forward.

Since this is what apc wants.

That's what I just addressed. Is it Mahmood that's sending thug to disrupt election ?

INEC work with numbers infront of them. INEC will always cancel results from units where there are violence like snatching of ballot boxes and all. Will even order for re-run in cases where those results from those unit will affect the overall outcome of the results.
Oh really?
Let us see how many polling units INEC will cancel today 🀣🀣🀣🀣

Say na INEC.

After all these irregularities they'll go ahead and declare a winner and someone will now come and tell me that it's time to put differences aside and work to build Nigeria.

Senior man, you be my elder. Be like I go stop to talk. I would hate to insult my elder because of politics.

Watching the coverage of the election by AriseTv ehn, person need really strong drink to take watch the bizarre happenings all in the name of this election.

They are putting sacrifices in polling unit in Agungi to discourage voters from coming out(It didn't work obviously cos the people were there looking at the sacrifice with jaundice eye grin), INEC officials allegedly missed their way, Most part of Eti-Osa INEC is moving people's polling untis from safe spots within the estates to expressway where thugs are waiting to pounce on them, Thugs attacking voters in Ago/Okota axis, people being flogged out of polling units , They even profile people before they allow them to vote where voting is taking place etc.

Omo!

It is wrong to disenfranchise people or force them to vote a candidate not their choice, its really really wrong and must be condemned.

Did Sanwo-Olu perform well? Yes! He performs well and deserves second term but shouldn't be via rigging.

Wike has opened eyes of Politicians to do/die affair - play fairly and lose woefully. Note; this is happening beyond Lagos. Same thing is happening in some states of other regions.

When they declare Sanwo-Olu he'll come and tell you to snap out of it.

We're even only reporting the Lagos own.

Check Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Abia, Cross River and Delta.

But we should form Bob the builder and work to build Nigeria together and be hopeful.
Renewed hope 😎

Funny thing is, Sanwo-Olu hasn't even done bad and would've been re-elected without a fuss but for the events of October 2020.

That is the only blot but it is the oil that has stained all the fingers. It is such a major one.

very simple. People just didn't come out to vote. It has nothing to do with INEC.
