What type of question is this?

So you aren't seeing all the video evidences where people were being chased away or denied exercising their franchise because they may not vote APC.

Isn't that voters supression
Which video or videos? So the so called videos covered all the 176,000 polling units?

Did you even ask which polling units, the wards, LG and state thise videos were taken?

Voter suppression my ass.
DriveByKiller:
no, people did. I officially monitored the elections.

Many polling units didn't see any inec official....voting started in some quarters after 2pm which was the official closing hour.
bro, many polling units isn't all the polling units.

Like I said above, I'll like to see names of polling units and the number of people who were denied their right to vote by inec. Let's see if those polling units translate to the entire polling units in Nigeria.

OBJ also created EFCC.

But the creation of EFCC is not enough. We still need a more sanitised justice system, more Prisons, more Prosecutors etc I don't even understand why EFCC hires private attorneys to prosecute corruption cases, it eats me up.

There is also the tribal/religious angle, which politicians are going to prison? Are they from a region? Are they of the same faith?

But like people have said on this thread, thieving politicians are the only problem of the country. Once they are replaced with saints, Nigeria will become better than Japan, Germany and USA.

Well, I just read last night that Buhari has signed into law about 16 new bills that puts a numerous things away from the exclusive list to the Concurrent list. In other words building and management of prisons can be managed by state govts.

The only thing I'm begrudgingly happy about this new bill from Buhari and co is this removal of power generation and transmission and distribution from exclusive list. I've always wondered how myopic that law is and have held down many states. Cos I know a state like Lagos would have self funded a grid independent from the national grid. That thing dey always vex me when I wonder how are these ppl not thinking of that. Cos waiting for FG funds, it's clear the FG are not serious on anything about electricity.
Nigeria would have experienced significant investment and improvement in power even if it's in individual state level.

One I'm also glad is the removal of railways from the exclusive list.

But this Buhari talk of appointing ministers within 60 days sounds funny to me especially when this same w@nker spent 120 days of idleness without having a single minister during his first inauguration.

Anyway, when it favours your party, you ask questions to gaslight people and make evil look insignificant. I dont know if you are gaining anything directly from APC. Apc/ACN/AC/AD has governed Lagos state for the past 24 years . If the ruling party has done really well as advertised on radio, TV , and social media ; all we expect is for the ruling party to leverage on its goodwill over the years and the election will be a walkover .

What do we have today? open voters suppression , intimidation of would-be voters and even wrong profiling of Lagosians as “igbos” and such they are not eligible to vote who would govern them for the next 4 years .

Some things no just make sense for this country 🤦‍♂️

This is mistake Nigerians keep making.

Why do you worry about the country so much when the country does not worry about you?

I wholeheartedly support the japa message. Infact, japaing from Nigeria right now should be an existential objective especially for people who plan on procreating/have procreated. Practically all the ruling political elites have dual nationalities incase yawa gas one day. So, why won't you tidy your own situation?

Because life is not an individual solely. There are many aspects to life.
Despite Nigeria's problems, there have been many who got to live a long, prosperous, fulfilled and happy life in Nigeria here.

And despite Nigeria's problems, there are still prospects for the country.
Nigeria has the best entertainment industry in Africa. Nigeria is gradually setting up it's IT sector and industry to be one of the best in Africa.
Nigeria's democracy while not perfect still shows promises of growth.

Yes we have situations unique to us that mwke it look like we are tethering on the brink of being a failed state. But there are still places one could point to as evidence of growth.

Lagos is developing, Abuja is developing rapidly, portharcourt is developing.
More african migrants from surrounding countries are moving into Africa.
I am someone who personally decries the political fortunes of this country but I can tell you that myself and my family are doing well in our private endeavors inspire of those aforementioned challenges.
Again, I'm not against the idea of emigration at all. But I think, that throwing the blanket statement that everybody must japa is truly not a good message. I think it is very condescending in nature, shown by the very fact that that is an impossibility.
Like no matter how you shout japa for 100 years, even 20% of people cannot do that.

From all indications, the relationship between Amaechi and Tinubu is completely damaged. I doubt there's any federal appointment coming from anywhere.

I just watched a video where Amaechi said Tinubus camp nominated Mahmood Yakubu as INEC chairman. If that is true, it lends credence to what I was saying here.

The question you should ask is, do people become chief justices of Nigeria simply based on merit?

The answer to that question will tell you why some of us have no hope in the judiciary and should tell you why you shouldn't.

The whole plan has been perfected long ago right under our noses.

These are cases that is not spread all over the polling units in Nigeria. Let's wait and get the true picture of things.

The point I am making is that Mahmood doesn't manufacture results. As long as Mahmood sees that the results are signed by all party agents as seen in the National Collation Centre he will take it as the true reflection of things.

If you were Mahmood, how will you differentiate manufactured results from non manufactured results seeing that all the party agents signed in all the results.

Do people manufactured results? Yes.

You are a supervisor, maybe in charge of inventory. You send your guys out to audit a warehouse full of phones. They reported to you they counted 500 phones. You will input 500 phones, right,?
If it turns out that there are 200 phones, who will the manager hold responsible for the missing inventory?

Chief let's leave this thing abeg.
