Obi wants Anambrans to vote for competence (candidate over party), but the clown is telling Lagosians to vote for party despite his party presenting a low quality candidate for Lagos.

The only truth you most learn today is the supremacy of the yorubas over the ibos in Lagos and beyond. That's your truth. Ok?
That's the only thing you have. Because majority of you have nothing, you envy foreigners that have achieved something that is what is called xenophobia. One would have thought that lagos would have benefitted you guys like it did others that moved here too, but alas even if you give a lazy man 100 million he squander it in no time. Igbos, hausas, nigerdeltans should leave the name Lagos for you guys, that's the only thing you have.p

I just pity the good Igbos doing business in Lagos... things will not remain thesame for them after election. Their will be massive legislations against non Yoruba indigenes.

Even Dangote that has the biggest private investment in Lagos can not say its a no man's land but here we are, an igbo guy selling bottle water in traffic saying lagos is a "no man's land"
Lagos is no man's land. Go and check the history of Lagos. Lagos is not a Yoruba land and that is how it will continue to be.

No.. I disagree with you. Why are they denying the indigenous Lagosians the opportunity to govern Lagos.

They come from those places and Lord it over the indigenous Lagosians. They should not come from Osun state and take over the politics of Lagos. They must allow the indigenous Lagosians to determine who govern their state.

If an Osun man can come to Lagos and aspire to become a governor, an Igbo man has every right to come to Lagos and invest because Lagos is in Nigeria.

Ogbomosho and most other Yoruba towns are a wasteland. Even Ibadan that is an ancient city is all brown roof with no tangible development in the last 3 decades.

Lagos case is as such because of its cosmopolitan nature. Everyone is welcome.

The issue here are the utterances of some people who incidentally are all from the East!. They said a Land they came to is a No-Man's Land. We all know Zik was invited back to Nigeria Macaulay from Ghana. He invited others and an exodus began. They left a home behind and call that Land a No-Man's Land.

Go and check with Ajeromi Ifelodun LGA they have always elect Igbos as Reps. Desmond Eliot openly said his Mum is Igbo but he never said Lagos belongs to no one.

The fact that Lagos politics allows other Yorubas participation does not mean a thing to the Yorubas collectively. Can you say that of Igbos?

Why all these hatred for we the Igbos? This shows that we have never been one Nigeria and may never truly will...

Its really disheartening seeing the comments here. What has the Igbos done? We registered to vote in our location of businesses and residences, this is a place we spend more time than our hometown, I believe we even have more investments in Lagos and you are saying we should not freely express our rights to vote? It is only fair that we be part of politics there, even if its the minute part of voting!

Are we trying to say there are no Hausas and Yorubas that registered and voted in the South East, South-South and North? I am in Owerri, I personally voted with some Hausa guys in my polling unit and that is how it is supposed to be... So why all these hatred?

Please, we Igbos are full fledged Nigerians, we have the right to vote wherever we register to vote, stop all the harrassment and hatred... For many years I voted in Rivers peacefully but I am from Imo. I registered and voted there because I am among the people the winners will govern.

Moreover, we are all first humanbeings before anything else. PEACE!!!

So selling land and houses which is one of the best investment tool is now a bad thing, many people buy land and build houses as speculation for future appreciation in value and it is done all over the world especially in America, to the igbos it means the person will be homeless while you take over his land, no wonder igbo land is still full of forests till today except for the state capitals, I was mouth agape when I had to tour igbo land on my job when I saw that you people practically live in the forest because you refuse to embrace other people, you will see one house far away in the bush with forest all around it and the next house will be miles away, if Yorubas are like that you won't be migrating here in droves claiming developer. Igbos are traders and surprisingly see any people who don't trade as poor, FYI Real Estate investment is a very lucrative investment which hardly fail if you sell at the right time and it's one of the many career endeavors Yorubas are known for. You think that person selling a house has nowhere to stay and they are selling off the roof over their head, use your brain.

Do you mean the insults and curses your people heaped on the Yorubas and any other people who don't see things their way is unknown to you, even here right now they are busy cursing out a guy who explained why he didn't vote LP, God has not created any people with shock absorber for insult so much more that they will embrace and love the people cursing them all the time, tell your people the truth like Soludo did, igbos may never rule Nigeria because election, like any business is about people who are the customers you are trying to woo and the customers is always right or they patronize someone else, you can't curse them to love you.

Must we follow you to vote any candidate that is in Labour party?
We voted for Obi because we felt Tinubu was part of the people that brought this calamity on us through Buhari.
Obi is popular because Osinbajo didn't win APC primary.

It does not have to be like this but the truth is some senseless Igbos caused it. How can you go as far as saying lagos is no man's land and you think you won't attract hatred towards yourself and your tribe?

I said SOME senseless Igbo because I believe very well , there many great peace loving Igbo people .

It's just so sad that whatever those few senseless ones cause will also affect the innocent ones.

I never described Yorubas as tribalistic, I was only reacting to some dude who became tribalistic because he was insulted, look bini people dont hate Yoruba we don't even hate anyone by tribe individuals may have their own opinion but it isn't a general sentiment, I have heard stories about Edo empire and Yoruba culture some historians even say Edo owns Lagos, personally Lagos is Yorubaland nobody here is dragging that or any Yoruba history neither are we jealous that Yoruba history and art are going global almost all the songs we listen to or vibe to in clubs here are of sw origin, it's just this election period is raising prejudice and sentiment that needs not be for me I just want the whole exercise to be over make everybody rest.

I begin to see you differently after I read your response. You sounded sharp. Let me clarify something pretty quickly. To romance with Yorubas is very simple. The only thing we need is that "you have our back"

I used to see Kogi people with distant eyes before, like another Nigerians, but when I traveled there and saw people in Kabba speaking raw Yoruba and also heard Igala tribe has, somehow similar language with Yorubas, anywhere I see Kogi people now, I see them as blood. They always demonstrate they by having our back. That's why nothing can happen to Kogi in the eyes of Yorubas.

From day one this igbos have always demonstrated they don't have our back. Evident when Awo called Zik to form allowance and confronted north, evident during MKO, now GRV... We made it clear our choice is Sanwo, this GRV insulted us as a tribe, didn't respect the tradition and kind of love her mom side only. You don't call a Yoruba man Afonja, it's an insult to us as a tribe. He shot himself in the leg. Bring an Edo man that has our back and love us, we will choose him over GRV, that's why I do think sometimes that perhaps that Bini history of Oduduwa maybe true. You need to understand how Yoruba people think.

Also, through him, atrocities in east may find way into Lagos, we don't want that, Sanwo is our choice". As your host, we are saying this is our choice you said NO then you turn around, almost all of you and say you would vote against us, and say it is a no man's land. Must you always go against our interest?

Mind you, they would mention OBJ, OBJ was never our choice, Falae was. They targeted the one we rejected and voted for him. OBJ did nothing for SW his 8years. The best he could do was to seize Lagos allocation again. We all know the region a president comes from does enjoy at least little development. We can see evidence in Buhari's region now (NW). OBJ didn't even construct the road in front of his home in his town.

As much as people could hate Tinubu, we all know Tinubu na werey, all Yoruba know but for what OBJ did alone, denied SW any good thing in his govt, and Tinubu stood up trying and ensuring Lagos was working and became where we could run to then to hustle, an average Yoruba man would prefer him to anybody. That Lagos is all SW had got cos of promiximity to SWestern states and he played key role in making it work. So when I see people shouting tribalism, I know they are not thinking from Yorubas' point of view... This guy gave us Lagos that we are all now proud of, what OBJ couldn't do.

This issue of GRV and Igbos now, what happened in Ilorin is what we don't want again. Let them do their business and live in peace like every other tribes do. Don't do anti-tribe agendas, respect our interest that's all we want from you live peacefully with us.

Yorubas are not hard people at all, na why some of them dey think we weak. Na them wan turn us to Toxic people.

God bless Nigeria
God bless Lagos
God bless SW
God bless Edo
God bless Igbos doing their in peace
