What we should talk about is those called the “poor masses”. Aside from financial poverty, they must also be suffering from mental poverty. This is the only country in the world where the people do not understand what democracy is all about. The poor aid the politicians to enforce poverty on themselves. When they fail to use the opportunities presented by election to remove bad leaders, they must continue to live in squalor. When you cannot hold your leaders accountable, you are bound to suffer.

Those who were killed in the last few weeks, defending politicians have already been forgotten. The politicians and their children continue to live well while ensuring that the poor never sees the light of day.
