This issue of WRONG CALCULATIONS alone is the main reason why I actually wished that the INEC used the Collation Support and Results Verification System (CSRVS) in this General Election..

That will need to be backed by the law right?

They should go digital. Type the result into the IREV and party agents should sign with their biometrics including the Polling officers

The INEC that we know will never adopt this..

Please no... Anything online should not be done for what will decide the fate of a country. We are not technologically developed to secure that system, so we will have to give foreigners to build the system.. Basically given them access to manipulate our country.

Please, can you tell me which aspect of Technology we use in Nigeria is being currently built in Nigeria.??

Banking Systems.?
Government System.?
Tax Systems.?
Electoral Systems/BVAS.??

WHICH OF THEM EXACTLY.??

So, why is it that this particular one is your major problem.??

My biggest worry is voter oppression and intimidation and INEC not cancelling the results of polling units were other parties were not allowed to vote.

We need to activate voting from homes.

This is the main reason why I wanted the government and the INEC to activate REMOTE VOTING OPTIONS..

So the made bvas just to prevent over voting... Over 300 billion spent?
It was supposed to also prevent Vote-Manipulations too..

But the INEC decided to totally abandon that functionality, just because the Electoral Act wasn't so directly specific on that.

Nobody cares about those unimportant 2 states.
If One State is unimportant in Nigeria,, then all States in Nigeria are all Unimportant..

How could you even be saying such a thing.?

That 2 States are unimportant, yet Federal Funds and Tax-payers money are being sent to such States??
And you're still here singing about it like everything is very normal about such an abysmal situation.?

With the outcome of the 2023 General Elections,, it can actually be said that “Nigerian Elections are heading somewhere positive.”!!

We are definitely progressing.

At least, starting from the Osun Elections of July 2022, which totally eliminated manual addition of imaginary votes and over-voting at the Polling-units..
And now to the 25th February 2023 and 18th March 2023 General Elections, where the manipulators (the desperate politicians and the indued/biased umpire) seek to manipulate the outcome of the actual votes cast by the various individual parties, but without altering the total number of the votes cast, so that their final results wouldn't have any pointer to Over-voting..

This clearly shows that Over-voting had been totally defeated in our Electoral Processes.. But Vote-Manipulations and Vote-Swapping (after the actual voting had been concludee) is yet to be eliminated.

BUT WE WILL SOON GET THERE..!!

We started this journey from somewhere, and we are heading to somewhere.!!
And we will definitely get there in this lifetime.

Vote-Manipulations, Vote-Swapping, and Wrong-Calculation of votes would soon be defeated too..
Even without the eventual introduction of “FULL ELECTRONIC-VOTING SYSTEM, WITH ONLINE REALTIME REMOTE-VOTING OPTIONS ALSO INCLUDED”..

Then, we would be left with only Pre-Election Issues which include violence, thuggery, inducements, lies, insults and banters, and so on.

Please give an example of how this vote manipulation is been done and why cant some of the policies put in place by inec catch this misconducts. thanks.

Is OTP bypass possible? I have heard so many people ask this question, some will come into my inbox for insight. Thing is everything is possible with technology these days. Watch this video to learn and understand how (The video is for educational purpose ONLY!)

I swear my brother.
How about, using the services of cybetcafes during elections to implement the full electronic system,
set up computer centres in remote villages and the focus focusing improving the networks and service providers.

We are not far from reaching the promised land hut it seems we all are tired to start the journey
BluntCrazeMan:

The Only Solution Is:
“FULL ELECTRONIC-VOTING SYSTEM, WITH ONLINE REALTIME REMOTE-VOTING OPTIONS ALSO INCLUDED”

That's the only permanent solution.
But they said that Nigerians are not ready.

One Thing is very clear...

With the systems and the technology that is already in place,, the Vote-Manipulations can easily be detected.

But the political will of the Government (and the disposition of the INEC) to stop the manipulations or to punish all those people that were found wanting - is not there.

Nigerians too, all of us...Ibo, Hausa, Yourba, my tribe etc....need to be convinced of the need to let elections be free and fair, because any rigging and vote buying is with our full complaince.

Yes, we will definitely get there in this lifetime after the Whites might have relocated to Mars.
Take it easy my brother..

If they start relocating to Mars, they will drag us with them.

I see. In other words you support the killings and the intimidations that gave the winners victory. As far as you were born of a woman and use air, fire and water. As far as you live on this earth and walk on the ground which will bury all the innocent souls who were killed during this elections, then may the blood of the dead people start to hunt you and your cohorts supporting this evil. May you never experience peace and may your days be as bleak as the political climate in Nigeria. Amen!

May all your curses return to you and your family. Pained loser

That's what the INEC is trying to make us to believe..

That the law is totally silent about electronic collation ooo..

Even though the BVAS can do it oooo, but the law didn't tell them to do it oooo.

Anyone who says that today's elections are no improvement to the previous ones is only deceiving himself. Thank you to technology and the people who reviewed the electoral act 2022.

In fact, those people did an outstanding job. That's the only thing that made it possible for a structureless party like Labour party to win elections across Nigeria. Before now, politicians were writing election results from their rooms.

Going forward, they need to make our police bear weapons. If not at the PU, it should be close to the PU. Our police must be licensed to shoot miscreants who cause election-related violence.

Not just armed, but body cam for police and electoral officers

The BVAS can do electronic transmission and electronic collation.. but the Electoral laws didn't DIRECTLY AND SPECIFICALLY tell the INEC to do any of the two.
