Lies run in your blood and that's why you always fail in the political game in Naija.

Well, as for my football career, the money I made from it in a short spell, I used it to bless some of my family members and it also gave me properties in Naija. If you make such money after your stay in Australia, they will ask the king of your hometown to vacate his stool for you.
The prayer is to make that kind of money so my king can vacate his stool šŸ˜Ž

So you mean to tell us that voting GRV as bonafide lagosian as any means Igbo taking over lagos whilst voting Sanwo Olu is Yoruba Project?

Bro it is possible that these people are feeding you with false info or their own bias views; cos the only significant event that rised the tempo of Lag Governorship election was Obi LP winning lagos in presidential, prior to that GRV was a non factor, the gov election was a shoe-in for Sanwo Olu.. All these tribal ish heightened after the presidential.

And we have the gall to call out southie as being xenophobics; when our children start getting the usual go back to your country even though the Abroad is the only country they know - we should remember these periods as well, what happened at the weekend is despicable - what is bad is bad; I shudder what could have played out if an full Igbo person contested instead of GRV.

Go and find out what made the former LP chairman in Lagos leave after making GRV the candidate. I am not a mumu, you don't expect me to conclude like some idiots. Go figure.

Peter Obi was actually made governor by the courts after they removed Ngige
Uzodinma is particularly called the Supreme Court Governor because he was actually third or fourth (not sure which one) after the election results.

It's not just about the Court removal.

But did you see people burning Ebonyi shops and preventing people from voting.

I can bet you that dude is one of those politicians inciting tribal war just like Oluomo and co.

Did you see evidence of some people targeting shops of people for burning?

I like how you find very good explanations for all these

Better if you have the interests of the residents at heart and not influenced by some external forces like GRV was.

You won't even reach there before hand meet you.

It would have made more sense if GRV was Igbo. This guy is even a Lagosian, but he turned Igbo

Igbo planned a takeover of Lagos with LP, where 98% of seats won are Yorubas.

I am still waiting for the master plan of the takeover

Yes, I'd fault him for this, particularly in not providing context when he made those tweets but it's Twitter and it optimizes for brevity.

the most perplexing is that some of these posts weren't even decades ago. some were as early as 2021 and he's been a politician since at least 2019 since he contested as senator and did well against SOA so this shouldn't be happening to someone with his experience. Someone that's seen Agbaje labelled Chinyere, knows that he has Chinedu in his name and can't speak Yoruba fluently should've been extremely guarding his tweets not to give opposition another ammo

Not true.

What is happening is that people have left their political trolling, and started denigrating tribes.

Anybody wants to troll Obi and LP? Please be my guest.

You cannot call Igbos "Refugees" in Lagos, Nigeria: you friends cheer you up, and expect someone from that tribe to be smiling.

No naa

Does it matter if he was voted in when we have fellow people from the same region who felt its bad that a man from their region is not competent to be governor because his ancestors came from somewhere

The problem with most of you is you speak too confidently from a position of ignorance.

The two persons he insulted - Adeboye and Tinubu.

Tinubu he calls Afonja/Afonjagaban because he's convinced he would sell/is selling the Yoruba race for his personal ambitions...prior to when it became clear Tinubu was running for president, I can bet that's an opinion a good number of Yoruba's held.

Adeboye, Adeboye gets dragged on Twitter like every two weeks for one thing or the other for reasons not limited to the role his church and members of his church have played in this Buhari mess, his now found lukewarm attitude to politics despite him being an active player in political events prior to the emergence of Buhari, and the posts he makes that people sometimes find just weird.

The particular tweet on Adeboye that GRV responded to was the tweet of him saying" El-Rufai is a kind person and has a tender heart." El-Rufai is widely believed to be complicit in the murder of Christians in the majority Southern Kaduna part of the State, yet Adeboye, a Christian leader is endorsing this same person and you believe he shouldn't be getting slammed?

Tribes have behaviors that people deem typical that even persons from said tribes can use to attack persons from their tribe even, it's like an Igbo man seeing another Igbo man act money-loving and he'd say "typical Igbo behavior" or a Warri person seeing another Warri person acting rachet and he'd say "typical Warri behaviour" (no insults intended)...Yoruba leaders are widely believed to be asskiss Northern leaders, and that clearly was the context from which he was speaking.

As regards him supporting IPOB, he supports IPOB just as much as he supports Yoruba Nation agitatiors/ Amotekun, and he clarified that he however doesn't agree with the violence that's now come to be associated with IPOB.

It's funny seeing educated people make allusions to a grand plan that involves GRV/IPOB/takeover of Lagos...omor, APC sabi this propaganda work cheesy

That this has to be explained ehn.

Just a little research would do this... Just a little one ooo

As at when he spoke about IPOB what was the state of the group then.??
