Steep:Lol...you are contradicting yourself.....you have argued that Jesus was not equal to God as a man and that Jesus is still a man in heaven. So how can Jesus be equal to the Father as a man in heaven? Answer please. |

Michael548:1. Where is it written that a man cannot? Jesus Christ entered into Heaven flesh and blood intact. So, where? |

Michael548:see eh, I assume you're not digitally deaf/blind, that question was answered. I can be wrong but it seems you are focused on some pack of cards you have to play that you do not even take the time to listen open-mindedly. If someone asks a simple question you skip it and put an answer in their mouth, to accuse them of another thing that will warrant another card. honestly, guy, we can be better every day... you can be more reasonable. Believe whatever you want o. I heard some people's own Jesus even ran down from the cross to avoid death... we still leave in peace. |

Michael548:1. Let's see what Peter in fact says. 18 Christ himself suffered when he died for you, and with that one death, he paid for your sins. He was not guilty, but he died for people who are guilty. He did this to bring all of you to God. In his physical form he was killed, but he was made alive by the Spirit.According to the above passage, Peter seems to be saying that while Jesus Christ was in the grave— physically dead—, the Spirit made Him alive— He was conscious, spiritually at least—, even in death. Verse 19 indicates this as it also insists that Jesus Christ, was able to go preach to the spirits in the prison by virtue of this. So, what has this to do with the question asked? |

Kobojunkie:Ok....was Jesus resurrected with his fleshly body according to Peter? |
Re: Is God A Trinity? by Kobojunkie: 5:14pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
Michael548:1. Peter's statement in that entire passage does not even address the resurrection, instead, he addressed only that which took place while Jesus Christ was in the grave — physically dead— for 3 days. So? |

Re: Is God A Trinity? by Michael548(m): 5:21pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
Kobojunkie:So after Jesus was physically dead in flesh, how was he resurrected? With the same flesh? Read 1 Corinthians 15:42-44 |

tctrills:How is he the Almighty, since he is subject to God? |
Re: Is God A Trinity? by tctrills: 5:23pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
Michael548:Almighty simply means he has all power as you read in Matthew. |
Re: Is God A Trinity? by Michael548(m): 5:26pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
tctrills:So he has all power and still subjected? Who is the Father subjected to? |
Re: Is God A Trinity? by tctrills: 5:28pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
Michael548:It said all powers given unto him. It did not say the Father is subject to him. You should be making your argument with Jesus Christ that made the statement if you don't believe it not me |
Re: Is God A Trinity? by Michael548(m): 5:31pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
tctrills:You said that Jesus is not lesser than the father isn't it? But the bible says he is subject to the Father. So how come he is equal to the Father? Don't you believe that the Father is greater than Jesus? |
Re: Is God A Trinity? by Steep(m): 5:37pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
Michael548:So where did I tell you Jesus is equal to God as a man? |
Re: Is God A Trinity? by Michael548(m): 5:38pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
Steep:Lol....so you agree now that Jesus is still not equal to God in heaven since he is still a man with flesh and bone in heaven? 1 Like |
Re: Is God A Trinity? by Kobojunkie: 5:42pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
Michael548:Let's examine what Paul in fact says in his epistle. 35 But someone may ask, “How are the dead raised? What kind of body will they have?”According to Paul, the physical body dies when it is planted, and a spiritual body emerges when the dead physical body is then raised. One thing to note is that Paul never actually states that the Spiritual body does not have flesh and blood associated with it. Surely, when you plant corn seeds, you expect that corn seeds will also be realized as a part of that which is planted, right? In verse 45, Paul states that the first Adam came from dust and the earth, but the last Adam is a life-giving Spirit. When Jesus Christ arrived from Heaven, He was clothed in flesh and blood— a man—, even as the life-giving spirit. So, here we have Paul in fact insisting that even the one clothed in the Spirit remains a man — flesh, and blood. And this corroborates Jesus Christ's statements and actions from after He was raised from the dead . 36 While the two men were saying these things to the other followers, Jesus himself came and stood among them. He said to them, “Peace be with you.”Not only did Jesus Christ allow them to see that He remained flesh and blood even after the resurrection. He proved to them that He still came equipped with a human digestive system by eating fish right in front of them. The man from Heaven, even after His resurrection still had flesh and blood intact. This can only mean that the spiritual body — after resurrection— maintains a flesh and blood aspect to it, as was the case with Jesus Christ. |
