Seun must be mad. Take the 32k and send it to your people in the village. The insult is something else. This is a complete mockery of those that died. Their blood will never allow you die well.

Keep your apology to yourself.
I really use to like nairaland as far back as 2012 or so when I was a guest becos of the things I learn here.
But today this is where we are, people making tribalistic statement, with porn all over the romance section, click this and that. You see all these things and turn blind eyes to them maybe because of the traffic (money) it's brings.
You have lost your integrity becos of money, I used to recommend nairaland to people but now I'm so ashamed I did. No wonder my bro who brought me here left long ago.
I doubt that you will see people come here to make better contributions in 5yrs to come becos you don't have standerd and for the very first time I'm thinking that you are tribalistic too (an apple doesn't fall far from it's tree)

You might not know the damage you are doing but you will still find out soon.
Literature was my best section but today go to literature section and you will find out that nobody is writing as b4.
I can keep pouring my heart
But just know that I'm not happy with you and the way things are done here.

Hahahaha I thought you said that you feel more safer in Abia state than Lagos? why don't u relocate ther? the population and traffic congestion in Lagos is too much, I don't know why people are trooping into Lagos as if it's New York City. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

@Seun Osewa

I must tell you the truth, I am highly disappointed by the way you are running this forum now. Nairaland use to be the best place where one get answers and solutions to issues. People use to get jobs, business connections, made sales etc on nairaland then. Anything you get on this forum use to be very authentic.
I registered on this forum in 2007 and I was more active on the auto section.

All of a sudden, you allowed your moderators and some selfish politicians to turn this wonderful forum to a place where hatred, tribalism, hate speech and jealousy against one particular tribe thrives.
It's quite unfortunate.

You are apologizing for just an advert, that is not even an issue. What about the e-warriors that you have all over this forum, promoting hatred and tribalism with all their comments. Many times we have called your attention to many on these issues but you pretended as if you didn't see them.
Your moderators block those who they see to be pro Igbos when they reply an attack on Igbos on this same forum in the same manner at which the poster said what he said against the Igbos.
Nairaland is your own, you can do whatever that pleases you with it but the only thing you have to know is that hatred and envy brings one down financially and otherwise. It's just a matter of time.

16,000 for that horrible advert last week.I am disappointed. If only you know what people have been going through you would never allow such advert even as a flash on such a platform.

I am the only Igbo staff in a highly dominated Yoruba organization .My only saviour in the past few months has been my skills .I know what I have been through in the past few weeks. Its just unfortunate for them that when it comes to the business I am a badass because the Igbo zeal and determination runs in me.I run the profitability figures .

May Nigeria heal .

Dear Igbo People,

I sincerely apologize for allowing a toxic political banner advert which said, "Lagos can never be run from Anambra; go and vote" to run on Nairaland for several hours on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

The mischievously worded banner advert appears to have been part of an ethnically divisive political campaign aimed at securing Lagos State for the ruling party by instilling fear in Yoruba people, making them believe that Igbo people intended to "take over" Lagos State.

Such ethnically divisive political campaigns have no place in a forward-thinking democracy, and for this reason, the ad should have been taken down instantly. No harm was intended, but my lack of forethought about the ethics of that type of advert led to a disappointing outcome.

We should have had a clear policy against accepting negative and ethnically divisive ads on Nairaland, we should have communicated it to all advertisers, and we should have taken down any advert that violated that policy instantly. This will all be in place before the next election.

We made almost N16,000 from the ad. We will double it and donate it to victims of political violence in Lagos.

Please, do NOT give up on Nigeria. The times are challenging, but TOGETHER, we will overcome.

Sincerely,
Seun Osewa.

@Seun, take down your apology if you cannot control these kinds of people on your forum. Your apology means nothing. You can block all non Yorubas from using your forum, it is not a problem. This child just came onboard here in 2019, 12 years after I registered on nairaland and look at how he's insulting non Yorubas and you're pretending you're not seeing it.
Take your apologies to somewhere else, nobody cares. Time shall tell.

That's all I asked and you are foaming at the mouth.
Seun won't take down the apology, you can go and die. Stupid demented land thief.

You insult and denigrate Yorubas and claim Lagos is no man's land. Can I dare call any part of Igboland no man's land?
Can ab Anambra man go to Ebonyi and tell them that he has a candidate that they should support as Ebonyi Governor?

Was it not in Enugu that Enugu Igbos said they shouldn't vote another Enugu Igbo simply because his grandfather was from Ebonyi?

I see the lamentations of igbos as being myopic and foolish. UGM has been killing Igbos like flies, but Igbos are silent.
You killed a Northerner and her 4 children in the East, you hypocrites kept quiet.

You can see no one outside Igboland is even taking your hypocritical years seriously. We all know you are crying because your plan at ethnic and political domination of Yorubaland failed.

Better collect your share of the 32k Seun offered you and go use or to buy sense cos you lack it.
