Democracy mate….One should support any party he/she wants….

Of course, that's true, but we also have the right to call out support that is detrimental to the country and society at large.

Abi are you not seeing the damage the APC has done to the fabric of this country? Don't you wish there were more people who stood firm against Hitler's supporters?

Is it not APC supporters that carried out widespread ethnic profiling and disenfranchisement of many thousands of voters and aided the suppression of Democratic values?
Do this point of it being democracy should actually be pointed at them.

I totally agree APC should be cursed…. But individuals should still support their party especially if it benefits them or for whatever reasons.

Me I’ll still drag the party if they fvck up like I’ve been doing since 2015

Well, I did my DD and till now the defence by the lying Party people, has been hogwash, which even gave more credence to my findings.

Meanwhile, since Donj has been exposed and scampered for safety, pls help him answer the question below.

If in a state in your region, a gubernatorial candidate born of a northern mother, with no governance experience, was exposed to have ridiculed your tribe and fraternised with a deadly Arewa group in the past, now contesting to become a governor, won't you condemn and possibly vote against him as a true son of your father?

Be sincere to yourself, and if you lie may amadioha strike you to death.

And for the purpose of clearing this misconception, I will reiterate this.

This "Lagos is a no man's land" which has been thoroughly weaponised by the APC as a tool in order to divide and rule and maintain their stranglehold on leadership of their cash cow is something I expect enlightened minds to see through.

"Lagos is a no man's land" is not a statement that tries to allude that Lagos has no indigenous inhabitants or that tries to gloss over lagos' history. NO!! It is a statement that tries to highlight the CURRENT diverse makeup of the state and the advocacy for equitable leadership representation.

I think it is disgusting hypocrisy that dayo would post here that he is engaged in local politics in Texas, meaning he has sights on some kind of leadership posts in the foreign land he is in, but then rails against a naturalized born in Lagos citizen but of another tribe, holding any elected governance position in a city like Lagos.

You don't even need to look further at the states of Lagos past governors to see the diverse nature of the city\state. Tinubu, sanwoolu, fashola are not indigenous lagosians but they've all been stewards of the state.

For contrast, show me where an ekiti man has ruled over Ondo state, or an osun man has ruled over Oyo state, or vice versa.
That's because Ibadan, ekiti, abia, Anambra are just not Lagos. They don't have that kind of rich tapestry, history and diversity of the city\state. They haven't evolved to that level of diversity.
I really wish people here understand the context of that statement, it does not mirror any "takeover" of the state by any particular tribe. It just shouldn't be huge news that someone of different ethnicity handles an elected position in the state, from either governor down to councilor.

Just shut up please.

How does being "aggressive" to APC supporters translate to the disgusting tribalism we're seeing from many people here right now?
And yes, I still maintain my stance that one can't be normal and support this APC, if the events of the last 3 weeks hasn't justified my position, I don't know what will!!
You added to the fire by constantly labelling Tinubu supporters as tribalists and saying Lagos is a no man's land you acted saintly until your dubious intent was exposed by some from the neutrals, Obidient camp and Batists then you started to explain your comments away.

Don J your fascist intent disguised as a call to freedom, justice, equity can only fool those who arent acquainted with political history, when the Bolsheviks did their thing in Russia Empire by killing the Czar they went ahead subjugating others into acute pain and suffering before that they were shouting on top of their voices that they want social justice. Look at Ayyatol-Shaytan of Iran when the Iranian revolution started in 1979 or there about they were shouting social justice, how about Taliban of Afghanistan and the French Revolution?
I can see the face behind the mask before you pull them off, Don J you wanted an Igbo man to be President- you have the right to support that but stop making it look as if others who want something different are devils

Those factors do not characterise GRV. But let's assume they did, to be honest I would not support such a candidate. But then the elections must be free, fair and credible.

The use of tribal slurs to malign an individual is not democratic neither is the use of thugs to disenfranchise people from demonstration of their civic right.

Then, why are you spreading misinformation?

A unipolar world controlled by the West is harmful and dangerous to Africa.

A multipolar world is in the best interest of Africans, and it's important that countries in the East like Russia and China keep opposing the hegemony of the West.

If not, what happened to the natives of America will be child's play if the West, especially the UK and the US, is allowed to gain power over the whole world: You can say goodbye to Africa as you know it.

It's sad that most Africans don't know the horrors of slavery and colonialism by GB, France, Portugal, Belgium.

This topic isn't given enough attention in this part of the world, and most Africans don't think deeply.

Because most Africans only read books of history (books of lies) written by Western authors, they don't learn true history of colonialization and slavery and how the colonial masters and slave masters committed acts of genocides in parts of Africa and India and other unspeakable things.

Because most Africans don't know this history, it will be easier to recolonize Africa in the future. And many Africans are even calling for recolonizaton because they don't know the horrors of colonization and slavery.

If most Africans know these facts about the West, some would have done worse than Prof Uju when she made her brave remarks about the death of Queen Elizabeth.

As a true African, you can't know how colonial masters and slave masters from these Western countries committed acts of genocide, forced labor in Africa, torturing Africans in enslavement camps, how the Britons massacred the native Americans and took over their land to form today's US, and you'll still be taking sides with the West in this Russian-Ukrainian war.

The West did much worse to their colonies in Africa and India than Russia and are not repentant for their evil actions.

As much as I don’t fancy Tinubu’s candidacy and what his political orientation represents , I’ve had course to put down posts from Don J tagging Tinubu a tribalist where there’s scarcely any evidence that proves that . I remember izzou also tackling on the alleged post 2019 election targeting of Igbo’s from an informed point .

Those displaying tribalist tendencies today have it ingrained in their DNA before now. They just couldn’t help themselves when Don J lighted the match . Make una no dey make excuse for bad behavior .

Respect Sir.

The system wins again, now the governing elite have succeeded in dividing the youths whose unison had them running scared with tribalism, now who holds them to account? Bro start working on your JAPA moves jare...

Nope. He is excusing himself from the "cyberterrorist" who made the statement. His statement confirmed that the recording was not edited

"Fascist intent disguised as a call to freedom, justice and equity". 🤡🤡🤡

"You wanted an Igbo man to be president". 🤡🤡🤡

In all my 10 years on this platform, I have never used derogatory words towards another tribe, be it slave, afonja, Yoruba, cannibals and whatnot. I have never descended to any tribal level of degeneracy or painted a whole tribe as evil. I have barely even been Igbo centric in any point I've made. I've stated plainly how I think tribal identity is actually useless to our lives. Me being Igbo does not make me enjoy more or suffer less than a Yoruba or efik person or impact my personal trajectory in life.

But of course leave it to a murderous, fanatical raging lunatic who wishes to gas an entire tribe to project his own insecurities unto another.

Just because America, as liberal as it is, is called the "land of immigrants" doesn't make it less of the land of Native Americans. 6 centuries later after immigration and generations of families and more yet Native Americans still have a special place and are recognised as the original owners of America. It's why they have protected statuses (in most parts).

In your post from yesteryears I quoted, you pointedly asked anyone who refuses to accept Lagos is a no man's land to cry you a river and keep wailing. You were taunting them. They are even nice.

Dude, for the umpteenth time I repeat, Calabar was a former FCT, but if you ever dare insinuate it's a no man's land, you'd have body parts littered along the streets, especially in Calabar South.
You don't have to take my word for it - ask any non-indigeous person you know to utter that on the streets of Calabar then give us a feedback in 24 or 48 hours.smiley

Imagine of Tinubu was the toast of the town like Obi now with many Igbo youths supporting him against an Igbo man let's say Obi, do you know that if Yoruba's kept on attacking those Igbos who support Obi and Obi himself, a lot of Igbos will have a rethink?

The way some of you went about bragging online that Obi is the lord of Lagos was enough to have a lot of Yorubas believe that it is true that you want to take over their land. There's no renovating when you say Lagos is a no man's land, it's a very provocative thing to say.
