Well, that something happens during the born-again process — the acquisition of a spirit/eternal aspect to one's being — the Eternal life that one gains when entering the Kingdom of God. See where Paul tells you that to acquire that spiritual body he had alluded to in previous verses, some will not even need to die to have it. Well, it is those who are born-again who will not need to die to have spiritual bodies — complete with flesh and blood while they still live
