can I have 9m sent from my dad as a gift of deed (+3m in my account) that’s about $35,700 then I can have him write letter of sponsorship that he will support me in the consecutive years and attach his pay slips too. His company is delisted on CAC site but he still got his payment slips that they used to pay him from companies he worked with Or. Can I have my third party uncle to be my sponsor and he writes sponsorship letter with affidavit of spons. And I’ll attach the receipt where he has sent my sister money before (200,000) or maybe say it was sent for me through her.so to say he has been supporting us And I’ll use his CAC doc and paystub Or better still. I can have my dad and then my uncle as co-sponsor It’s a 4-years undergraduate. Just thinking of the uncle cos of the doubts of how I can pay the consecutive years. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Mofolam: 7:58pm On Mar 22, 2023 |
damilad96:Counterfoil Comes before study permit. The former before you leave the country and the latter you get it on arrival at Poe |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Mofolam: 8:11pm On Mar 22, 2023 |
vividumebi:You showed funds but the vo is concerned that it’s not urs or that it will not be available for your studies. Also I think you didn’t prove employment that justifies the money available. Solution: 1) pay as much of your tuition as you can afford before you reapply ( confirm refund policy from your school first) 2) write a detailed explanation of your Employability prospects upon return to naija. 3) I’m guessing u used a sponsor. Since the vo has doubts, have ur sponsor make a notarized affidavit 2 Likes |

Danilvex: Using your dad will be better, you only have to find a way to justify his sources of income to prove that the funding will constantly be coming to you for subsequent years. if you add your uncle just make him a secondary sponsor. |

What course did you apply into at Memorial University? Kindly check some colleges within the Atlantic province. They should still be open. Goodluck. Although chances are slim for this year but yet not impossible. hardeydara213: |

I am also a learner, but can you help provide more detail on the remaining tuition fee + 20K (2 yrs living accommodation). so Guru in-house can help with more context for us still cooking our application too can learn. if they claim we only need just 1yrs POF, some people here also advise us to have full POF for the 2 yrs + extra. pls I assume this calculation, but you can correct what the 2nd yr tuition if 2nd yr tuition = 21K CAD 2 yrs accommodation = 20K CAD Total = 41K CAD @ minimum excluding some miscellaneous cost 16M @ today rate at IRCC portal(0.00298980) = 47K CAD Like I said I might be wrong, pls guru in-house help us too with POF total against the VO expectation All in all, I pray GOD to bless us PPR soon. joefit4gur: |

Please someone should answer me ooo Abeg , what documents are we to take to POE,? Am so confuse on this because am hearing we need to take bank statement again 🥹🥹 |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by joefit4gur(m): 9:36pm On Mar 22, 2023 |
jarule1977: The calculations are right. The amount of POF available is even more than required. I have a two deductions pending till I receive my GCMS notes: 1. That the POF must be available in the account for 3-4 months. (That is, just stacking your account to the full amount required for POF and then applying immediately = Red flag). So maybe wait 2/3/4 months with POF in account then applying. 2. That if you intend to fund your studies solely from crypto liquidated funds, you still need to corroborate with a legal business running in Nigeria. Show payslips and employment history and if self employed, show evidences of your interaction with clients, receipts etc. Maybe the experts can review. |

Good evening house. I am about to apply for study visa to Canada. I have all my docs ready including my SOP. Now my elder sister staying in Canada is acting as a sponsor for me and she is to cover my tuition 100% only while my statement of account shud cover my living expenses and other miscellaneous. I am also married. Now I contacted an agent and he is telling me my application will not fly as he saw some red flag which includes the fact that I am married and a business owner so I am expected to sponsor myself 100%. That if my sister is acting as a co sponsor, my application will be rejected for insufficient Funds. Can anyone throw more light to this from previous experience. I will appreciate. 1 Like |

Hello pls if u did an upfront medicals and they now request for medicals on ur application account. How do u send the medicals or update it to IRCC?? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Frankielilbaby(f): 10:30pm On Mar 22, 2023 |
zubizareta: Yes he has a very good point. The officers wi be wondering why a married woman and business owner is not sponsoring herself for her own studies. A year back I read about a guy whose brother provided about 70 percent of his POF and he was rejected, when he ordered GCMS, the visa officer saw the money as too much and concluded that he would definitely be paying back. If it's not your father or mother who can give money without asking back they usually conclude that the money won't be free. So if she can show at least that she's ready to cover 30 percent while you cover 70 percent it's okay but 100 percent is a red flag |

Danilvex: Digital asset is not recognized, true. But the digital asset had been liquidated. It's not like the funds is in form of crypto. It's in fiat. |
