Nope, PDP wanted to rig the election with the last LGA, they had manipulated the figure, she would have simply gone ahead and announced PDP the winner or order a rerun based on that last LGA that gave PDP much vote to suppass LP. But she refused and ensured that the LGA tendered result tallied with the records in the machine, this prevented the rigging. They wanted her to do the wrong thing and tell the LP to go to court but she refused.
This was what INEC chairman would have done as stipulated by the INEC Law
Kudos to her then for maintaining such tenacity

No, you do not get it. Not because they won but because she did the right thing. Try and be reasonable even if the matter has to do with someone you hate. If you have been following the story, you will agree that the result from Obingwa was said to be above 100k. But record shows that the number of accredited voters in that Local Govt. is about 27k. How did PDP get over 100k votes from an LG with about 27k accredited voters? If this woman had gone ahead to accept that number, PDP would have won and that would be wrong. She made a case that the BVS be inspected and when that was done, it became clear that the over 100k votes the PDP claimed they got was doctored. This is the right thing, not because it favored LP but because it is the right thing. You know all of these, I am sure, but your hate-filled mind won't allow you to admit it. What you should be contesting is if PDP presented doctored votes or not. The woman is not LP's Hero, she is the hero of humanity. I am dead sure she would not have accepted that doctored vote even if it was the other way round.

Whenever I see women achieving great feats, I feel so elated.

May the heavens continue to raise feminine giants in Nigeria such as Professor Dora Akunyili of Blessed Memory, Dr. Okonjo Iweala, Professor Nnenna Oti, Chimamanda Adichie, Oby Ezekwesili, Folorunsho Alakija, Aisha Yesufu etc.

The same person that appointed Pantami with professorship, we know what you all said about her and the way you abused and cursed her then. Hypocrites.

She is needed in Nigeria not Rivers state. What is the essence of singling out Rivers state while most state governors rig? Why would u wish her Rivers state when u know how life threatening it could be? Do u think same woman can survive the heat in Northern or even Western Nigeria? We need this kind of woman in National level. Stop being myopic

Thank you for throwing more light on the matter.
Her tenacity to stand for the truth even in the face of some powerhouse is an outstanding feature and really worth celebrating!
A hero she truly is for not allowing a broad daylight robbery.
The state that really needs such umpires is Abia where the governor does nothing for his people except for the 2 liters of kerosene he distributed to them in 2019.
I hope that the new man does well to make his people proud

Some young hot blooded motherfuckers up there couldn't wait to haul abusive words at me. Once you question something they love, their hormones would start jumping like goats on heat period!
