This guy must be from El Rufai school of politics. He had been following El Rufai since the return of democracy and had been handsomely rewarded. |
Re: Profile Of Uba Sani, Kaduna Governor-Elect by casualobserver: 8:08pm On Mar 23, 2023 |
meum: You are the one complaining that someone who worked under El Rufai has now become a governor. Complaining that bad leaders raise more bad leaders. So what stopped your angel from raising more angels into leadership positions when he was in office? Again I state, true leaders raise an army of leaders, whether good leaders or bad leaders. If your leader is not raising an army of leaders (whether good or bad) then he is not a leader. He is selfish person only interested in himself. Whether you agree with how they are running Lagos or not, 16 years after Tinubu left Lagos, all the governors are his protégées executing the masterplan he laid down. Obi has only been out of Anambra for months before Obianonstarted to reverse everything he claimed to have done (not that he did much). To the point that there is hardly a trace that was once a governor or any sign of continuity in anything he did. No protégées walking in his footsteps, no continuity of vision or plan. Leaders raise protégées to continue after them, a man with no protégées is not a leader. Awo died almost 40 years ago, Ayo Adebanjo (his protégée). is still sounding the drum for his values. Like them or not wise and Amaechi are Odili boys, Fayose amongst many others is an Obasanjo boy. You may not agree with their leadership (I don’t) but they created protégées when they were in power. Where are Peter Obi’s protégées? If you CLAIM to be a saint but don’t create and empower saintly protégées and build them up to succeed you and continue your work, then don’t complain if you don’t have good people to succeed you. 4 Likes 3 Shares |

Poll23:Niger had a xtian governor, Muslim deputy Then they demanded for muslim governor, xtian deputy. Christians said it's okay, God can use anyone, no problem. It then happened. Then they demanded both Muslim as governor and deputy. Xtians were like, no problem, it's better they rule us, Leadership is not by religion. God can use anyone. Then they started sidelining xtians. They don't put them on issues anymore. Xtians became 2nd class citizens that bow eat left overs. They can now sleep with rejoice, Mary and Lisa for 500 naira. They became lords. Then it happened in kaduna. Both governor and deputy Muslims. Some say "even when there was a Christian deputy are people not killed?" So they voted for both and xtians were moved out of the decision making caucus. Killings became worst, using government resources to attack their villages Now In these two states, no Christian can smell deputy again. Then it happened in Nigeria as a whole Both president and deputy Muslims and some naive Christians still saying its nothing. God can use anyone. Nigeria is beyond religion bla bla bla. But the other side aren't saying the same thing. They want to take all that belongs to you and u still saying " it's nothing" The future generations that will be born into new slavery In their own country will course this generation of Christians. Because some of them leave in Abuja and lagos they don't understand the freedom they enjoy. They can ask Christians in the far north how life is under the watch of these guys and they will understand you can't give your future to someone that always see you as the enemy 1 Like |

casualobserver: Based on your argument, politics is the only field, as it were, where leaders exist. Wow! Go and do your research about the person you choose to malign. Start from his personal life, life in the private sector, life in political office etc. I’m not against raising leaders in politics. Let the would be leaders be ready to serve without unnecessary interference from the political mentor. This thing of raising a leader from a protégé is what we see as political godfatherism. These godfathers will go ahead to influence the leaders they raised who in most cases must either do their bidding or be shown the way out. A case in point is the Lagos you have been mentioning from the beginning of this discourse. The thing didn’t happen in only Lagos. We have seen similar events of godfathers raising leaders play out in most states(North, south, East & West). These “Oga” that raise these leaders will want to interfer, want to continue by proxy, or refuse to support the leaders they raise for fear of not allowing them access to power. Examples: Adedibu vs Ladoja, Tinubu vs Ambode, Saraki vs Lawal, Uba vs Mbadinuju/Ngige, Obasanjo vs Fayose, Odili vs Amaechi, Oshiomole vs Obaseki, Nwodo vs Nnamani, Yarima vs Shinkafi, Kwankwaso vs Ganduje, Goje vs Inuwa From the few listed above it is clear how the political leadership(good or bad as you put it) has been. They raise leaders that has Nigerian definition - not true leaders. Reason why we are where we are! Raising leaders shouldn’t only be in the political circle. Leadership exists in other sectors. Some people have raised responsible leaders in business, family, academia without making so much noise about it. Just do your research. P.S. I am all about good governance in Nigeria not what we have in place currently. 1 Like |

Re: Profile Of Uba Sani, Kaduna Governor-Elect by casualobserver: 7:02am On Mar 24, 2023 |
meum: Politics and political leadership is the subject under discussion. The problem with majority of you Obidients is that you do t engage your brains. You are like cult followers…less brain engagement and objectivity and more dogma and emotion. There is nothing wrong with “gidfatherism”, just like I said previously it is not producing protégées and raising an army of leaders that is the problem, it is whether it is a good leader producing protégées/ army of leaders or a bad leader producing protégées. It is even more pertinent for a good man in power to ensure he produces protégées so his good works endure. You guys always miss the point because you don’t engage your brains. The issues is leadership. If you are a leader, whether good or bad and you do not produce protégées or other leaders, Whether you are a good man or a bad man you are not a leader. If anything the good man who doesn’t produce protégées is worse that the bad man who does. We are talking about the attributes of a leader here not whether a leader is good or bad. You clearly don’t have the intelligence to decipher the difference or are too emotional (typical Obidient) to be objective. L You have to be a leader 1st before the issue of good or bad leader. Good or bad is merely after the fact after you have established your leadership credentials. You may argue he is a good man but Peter Obi from his political track record is not a leader. You may disagree with Obasanjo, Buhari, Tinubu, Odili, ibori, Amosun etc etc but they are leaders!!! You can argue they are bad leaders….that’s a seperate issue. If you are a leader and you have no protégées and you do not raise and empower other leaders..you are not a leader…..full stop!!!! Whatever you do while you were in power will be undone after you leave…that’s not leadership. If a church dies after a GO or head pastor dies, that is not a church, that was a one man show. A leader always has a succession plan. Nobody called having protégées and raising future leaders godfatherism when Awo, Zik, Sardauna, amino Kano etc were in power…because they were good leaders. 2 Likes 1 Share |

TheChameleon: Exactly. These guys are too dumb to understand the red flags staring at them glaringly In the face!!! How can you be a governor for 8 years be in the political arena for more than 18, claim to be a change agent and have not produce a single minister, governor, political heavyweight or heir apparent to continue and push your legacy in almost 2 decades?? Let’s not get this twisted Obidients are not a product of his leadership, they are a headless group who adopted him as their leader and they will be disappointed because he is not a leader!!!! He is a man after only his own interests l!!!! 1 Like |

casualobserver: Now you are beginning to sound like the same “obidients” you lot insult and attack. I thought we were having a discourse? How wrong I was! Why the insults? So anyone that differs with your opinion is automatically an obidient? I stopped reading your response the moment you started with insults. Grow up and don’t turn simple discourse with people to something else. It might interest you to know in the just concluded 2023 elections I supported candidates irrespective of their political affiliation. I don’t follow people blindly. I bet you did APC from top to bottom because to you godfatherism in Nigeria isn’t bad. SMH You lot that engage your brain can’t see beyond your noses! How pathetic. Don’t bother yourself with a response because I won’t engage with you any further on this. You are to immature to discuss with. Have a great day! |
